The Lynx in the Willow Trees

Lynxpaw had been fairly eager to go outside of camp for the first time by herself and the light brown tabbied she cat with her fiery personally had decided to sneak out and do so alone. With beautiful blue green eyes looked around as she padded through Thunderclan,her clan's, territory. She smiled or rather smirked to herself seeing as she had gotten thus far. With black tufted ears pricked she stopped briefly at the fallen oak that she knew separated Thunderclan from Skyclan. She paused though as she heard movement and she stayed quiet,still even as she watched to see who was coming.

Bump

Willowflight padded out to Fallen Oak with angry pawsteps, stomping his way to go see his mate. He wanted to vent about his annoying clan-mates and how hard it was to mentor the nicest apprentice he's ever met. She was impossible to deal with because he immediately felt guilty if he said something that wasn't 100% pure or nice. The grumpy tom cursed to himself as he tasted the air for his mate's scent, hoping that she'd be here.

Instead of hers, a different yet familiar scent wafted into his nose. For a moment he thought it was Cherryfang's, but there was a tang to it that alerted him to the fact that it wasn't her at all.

"Hey!" Willowflight yowled across the border, looking straight at the thunderclan cat's hiding place. "Yeah, I'm talking to you mousebrain! Stop hiding and show yourself- I can smell you from all the way over here!" He could smell the mouse-brain cat that was clearly shielding herself from view behind a bush to the left of his field of view. Did this cat think he was stupid?

Lynxpaw blinked and flattened her tufted light brown ears."I'd watch yourself old man"She growled back coming from the Bush her claws unsheathed and her light brown black and white tail lashed. She didn't know who he thought he was to tell her she was a coward"how about you day that to my face mousebrain"
