Fight! (Closed)

Batfang walked with her apprentice reaching the Gorge for a border patrol. Even if at first he disliked the idea of having an apprentice he was actually glad to see how good she was. At least, the young she-cat wasn’t troublesome at all. ”Be careful here. I don’t want to deal with a dead apprentice because you couldn’t stay away from falling from the Gorge. Let’s do this quick and then we can go back home.” However, the Warrior never suspected that today wasn’t going to be as peaceful as he thought...

Stormpaw walked along his side of the gorge, accompanied by Hollowbranch. His head high in the air, he followed the border around, his grey gaze darting all around him cautiously. He could smell RiverClan, but obviously it was because the two territories were so close...right? Even so, the apprentice couldn't shake the bad feeling, as Stormpaw continued the patrol.

Hollowbranch padded along by Stormpaw. He was tense; they were near Cobwebkit.

Sandpaw nodded with a small smile. "A-Alright. I'll be careful." the she-cat said softly. As they kept walking, she began to scent the smell of Windclan. She knew that they were near Windclan territory, but the smell was very strong. She squinted her eyes to try and spot anything. "Batfang, do you scent that? Isn't the Windclan smell stronger than normal?" she asked quietly.

Stormpaw continued his walk with Hollowbranch. He stopped, sniffing the air again. "RiverClan scent isn't normally that strong..." he said, more to himself than to the warrior next to him. He decided that it was just a recent patrol, no RiverClan cat would dare cross the borders!

Batfang narrowed his eyes, angrily. His apprentice was right. That awful smell was only getting stronger. Containing a hiss, the tom pretended that nothing was happening and continued the patrol. ”Windclan is near. Watch your steps, Sandpaw, those cowards will attack you from behind whenever they got the chance.” He said loudly so the other cats could hear him clearly. He was somehow expecting a battle from this... and he didn’t dislike the idea.

Stormpaw heard the RiverClan warrior and he turned to Hollowbranch. "Those weak fish heads wouldn't dare pick a fight with WindClan, the feeble little water dwellers!" he spoke, rather louder than was necessary. He continued walking, his head high.
