Hazelkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardstar leaped onto the Highrock, ready for another ceremony “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Hazelkit peeked out of the nursery, wondering if this was her apprentice ceremony. She hurried out and sat near the nursery, waiting for whatever Blizzardstar was going to say.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white leader finally decided to go on "Hazelkit, please, step forward”.

Leafstorm was there, watching his adoptive granddaughter proudly and resisting the urge to cheer. There would be plenty of time to tease his grandchildren later, so the fluffy warrior simply watched with a smile.

Hazelkit padded shyly forward and looked up at Blizzardstar. It was her apprentice ceremony!

(Ink isn't feeling well, so I'm taking over ceremonies for a while; pretend Leopardclaw was there the whole time C:)

Leopardclaw smiled down at the young she-cat as she approached the Highrock, before raising his head and beginning the ceremony.  “Hazelkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to become an apprentice. From this day forward, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Hazelpaw.  I will mentor you.”  Leaping down off of his high perch, the golden deputy bent his head to touch noses with the newly named apprentice, purring encouragingly.  "Training begins tomorrow, I'm sure you'll do great."
