Mischief at Dusk (Kit exploration anyone?)

The snow shone faintly across the riverclan camp. It reflected the light of the approaching dusk lightly dusted over the reeds of the nursery where a small kit stared out into the vast openness before her. It tickled her nose and caused her to sneeze while she slowly stepped into the depths of the clear white substance. It was cold, she could feel it despite her fluffed fur. Dewkit suppressed a shiver as she strode forward in the drift. She could see cats relaxed in the safety and comfort of massive dens, dips in the snow where cats had been and left to what was beyond the walls of the camp itself. She tucked her light grey paws under herself. Her blue eyes stared longingly at the middle of camp. Dewkit wanted to make it that far, she wanted to see more then just the nursery walls. Then the other kits that were curled close to their mothers. She sighed, watching as her breath appeared in the air with a shiver. Maybe her mother had been right, this wasn't weather for a kit.
