Maplekit's MCA Ceremony

Honeyspark still couldn't fathom that she thought it even remotely time for her to pick an apprentice. But Starclan always had it's ways and even threw her in a trial of trust in them and now being the sole medicine cat of Thunderclan she knew that she would need an apprentice even if she as just made an full fledged medicine cat not that long ago. With a sigh she grabbed the bundle of herbs in front of her that she had prepared only moments ago. She left the comforts of her den and padded to the nursery pushing her way in she gently nudged Maplekit's furry self and mewed"Maplekit please awake"She mewed.

Maplekit opened her forest-green eyes at the nudge given to her. She looked up to see Thunderclan's medicine cat  calling her awake. "Wha-at? Why?" she asked Honeyspark while getting up. "D-Do I have to go somewhere?" The she-kit was very confused and a bit worried. Where did the medicine cat want her to go? Why her? Couldn't she pick any other kit to go with her to wherever she was headed? Maplekit knew her questions would be answered soon enough.

OOC: Sorry for not responding sooner! ;-; School finals are coming up.

Honeyspark paused and shook her head"oh I'm sorry little one I should ask instead of assuming I'm still new to this"She purred"did you want to become my apprentice little Maplekit?"She asked softly. She looked down at the she kit with warm moss green eyes.

Maplekit's eyes widened. Her? She jumped up with a happy smile. "Y-Yeah! I would love to be your apprentice Honeyspark!" she squeaked happily. Being the apprentice of a medicine cat was such an honor. She waited for Honeyspark to continue.

Honeyspark purred quietly"alright then eat these we have a long journey ahead of us"She mewed gently setting the little herb bundle she brought with her.

Maplekit nodded and bent down to eat the foul smelling herbs. Maplekit's nose wrinkled and her tongue stuck out after managing to swallow all the herbs. "T-They were yucky!" she whined softly. She shook her head a few times and looked up at Honeyspark. "I-I'm ready!" she stated with a grin.

Honeyspark smiled softly"you'll get use to it Maplekit"She mewed gently"come let's get going"She mewed gently and started to lead the she kit out of camp"stay close ok"

Maplekit nodded and began to follow Honeyspark. She made sure to keep close as this was her first time going of the camp. She didn't know where they were headed but she asked no questions. The she-kit was a little frightened but she knew Honeyspark would keep her safe.

Timeskip-

Soon enough they had arrived at Mothermouth. The moon hadn't quiet reached the peak of what was needed to enter so she sat quietly as her former mentor Sparkflower had and looked to her to be apprentice "are you nervous?"She asked gently."I remember my first time coming and I remember being so nervous "She mewed gently. She let her warm moss green gaze look to her apprentice before she looked up at the moon for a moment quietly then back to Maplekit.

Maplekit looked up with wide eyes. This place looked weird. "I-I'm a little nervous b-but i'm ready!" she said to Honeyspark. Her eyes shone with confidence. The she-kit felt more than ready.

"Well it won't be that bad"She purred smiling some quiwtly."just follow me and stay close"She mewed gently. She padded into the opening of Mothermouth and moved through the darkness like she had done many times before. She closed her moss green eyes for a moment before she came into the opening of where Moonstone was. Once inside she turned and looked to her apprentice"Maplekit, do you wish to follow in the pawsteps of StarClan and go down the path of a medicine cat?" She asked looking to Maplekit with warm eyes.

Maplekit's heart beat faster than it had ever done. Her expression turned serious but had a hint of excitement and nervousness. "I do" she said full of confidence. This was a big moment and she was going to enjoy every single part of it.

Honeyspark smiled softly"Starclan understands your wish to follow their path. Warriors of Starclan, I present to you this young kit, Maplekit. She has chosen the path of a Medicine Cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and heal her Clan in accordance with your will. Maplekit, until you receive your Medicine Cat name, you will be known as Maplepaw"Honeyspark announced looking to the young she kit."now please touch your nose to the moonstone and the rest will follow"she mewed.

Ic: Maplepaw was filled with wonder and happiness. The she-cat was now made an apprentice to Honeyspark. The ginger and white she-cat began to touch her nose to the cold moonstone. Afterwards, Maplepaw began to go into Starclan.

Ooc dunno if I'm allowed to do this but the member hadn't been on for months so I'm a do it I guess.

A starry pelted she cat stood waiting for young Maplepaw to come. Seeing the apprentice the formwr medicine cat smiled and made her way over"greetings Maplepaw I am Sparkflower. I used to be Honeyspark's mentor." The starry blue gray pelted she cat with bright yellow(?) Eyes mewed."listen close because I don't have long. The path of a medicine cat is a lonely one but fulfilling. You must rely on your mentor Honeyspark. She knows much and can teach you well but never forget you can turn to starclan too if Honeyspark isn't there "She mewed before everything started to fade.


Honeyspark had waited for Maplepaw anxious and hoping starclan accepted her
