Surprise, Surprise

Any thought of fear evaporated when the tom introduced himself. He could definitely be a friend! Fear forgotten, he let Cherryfang groom his head before cheerfully trotting back towards Leafstorm, taking it as a sign that he was okay to do so. He cocked his head in confusion at his grandfather's words to his mother. Specklefang? SkyClan? What were those? Shaking those thoughts out of his mind, he grinned as the older tom talked directly to him and his siblings. He frowned in worry as his name wasn't stated. Did he already forget about him? "And I'm Swoopkit if you forgot! Can we be friends?"
That question was asked even before his grandfather had said the best part. He had been captured by two legs and still made it back? That was awesome! "How did you get back?" he asked pleadingly.

Hazelkit edged forward until she was sitting beside Lynxkit, Swoopkit, and Robinkit. "I'm Hazelkit," she murmured quietly. "Can I hear too? How you got captured by twolegs?" Leafstorm seemed so happy to meet them, Hazelkit couldn't help but open up to him a little bit. She couldn't understand why Cherryfang was so upset with the tabby tom. How could anyone not like him?

Whitekit still shielded herself with her siblings, she was cautious of this new cat and she could sense her mother's dismayed tone. "I'm Whitekit." She said it quiet enough that is was barely audible, but loud enough that the tom would here it. She sat near her siblings and flicked her ears forward, ready to listen to the story.
