Leafstorm tilted his head curiously as he walked out of the Warrior's Den, his tufted ears twitching. His eldest daughter had been missing for some time, and he was starting to get worried. The fluffy warrior had been thinking, and he was ready to forgive and forget. Cherryfang was smart- he didn't have to worry about her running off with some tom. (Leafstorm felt a stab of guilt when he thought about his and Cherryblossom's past).
Leafstorm paused to give his chest a few licks before turning around, his bright green eyes scanning the camp for any sign of the blind she-cat.
"Cherryblossom? Cherryblossom...?"

Cherryfang blinked quietly for a moment as she had laid in the nursery with her kits her ears flicking as she heard them starting to stir as they always did as they woke ready to play the day away. After the kits had woken she had ushered them from the den with a small purr. As she had exited the nursery with the kits her ear flicked hearing Leafstorm though instead of her name it was her mother's name and for a moment a pang of very brief sadness and a bit of anger surged through her before vanishing"do you mean cherryfang"She mewed keeping her voice even neutral not happy but not angry either.

The brown she kit scampered out of the nursery after Cherryfang her green blue eyes sparkled excitedly her gaze looking around for despite her siblings being out of the nursery before this was her first time.Lynxkit looked around before she looked at her mother as she had spoke.

Swoopkit let Cherryfang lead him out of the nursery, bouncing slightly in excitement. Outside the nursery was always way more exciting than inside the nursery, he had decided. This was only his second or third time out, but he already was sure that he liked camp a whole lot. His gaze darted around camp, looking for someone new to play with, when he heard a someone talking. Trotting over to the larger tom, he cocked his head in confusion. Who was Cherryblossom? When his mother responded, he realized what the older tom had been meaning to say. Still, his curiosity grew. Who was this tom, and why was he talking to his mother? His need to make friends made it impossible to resist this situation.
"Hi! I'm Swoopkit! Who are you? Are you friends with Mother?" the gray tabby asked curiously. Anyone who was friends with his mom was probably trustworthy, he thought. He continued to look at the brown tabby expectantly, hoping to get an answer.

Hazelkit stumbled as she was bustled out of the nursery with her siblings. Her mother began speaking with an older tom, so she studied him, trying to work out who he might be. She wanted to meet him and talk to him, but she wasn't as brave as Swoopkit, who had just walked right up to him. Instead, she sat quietly behind her mother, tucking her tail around her paws and ducking her head shyly. Maybe he would talk to her later.

RobinKit bounded out of the nursery after her mother, immediately puffing out her brown fur at the sudden chill. She looked straight up at this new cat, blinking in confusion. "Hello!" she said cheerfully, giving her reddish-brown chest fur a couple nervous licks. "Are you a friend of Mother's?" she asked curiously, flicking her tail.

Whitekit bumbled after her siblings and her mother. She stayed to the back of the small group of cats, but still puffed up a little bit when a new smell smacked her nose, and a new face appeared in front of them. Her siblings were brave enough to confront the new tom, but she just sat back and waited to see what was going on here.

Lynxkit watched her siblings for a moment before she moved from her mother's side only about a tailslength away and mewed"Who are you?"She spoke with a little attitude in her voice. Her tail flicked back and forth as her bright light blue eyes looked up at Leafstorm.

"No his not really a friend,Robinkit,dear now come back here all three of you"Cherryfang mewed her ear flicking but her blind gaze never left Leafstorm her father.

Leafstorm flicked his tail as Cherryfang approached him, but his attention was quickly diverted to the young litter at his feet. He rumbled a purr as two bolder ones approached and gently tapped them with his paws.
"Hello there, little ones!" He boomed, kneeling down so he was on their level. "Now, now, don't be frightened! Come say hello to your grandfather!"

Robinkit was conflicted. She did not know if she should go with her mother or move closer to the tom. Upon hearing that he was her grandfather, Robinkit flicked her tail happily and moved closer. "Mother, if he is my grandfather, he must be a friend, right?" she reasoned, her bright green eyes moving back to her mother. A small purr rumbled from the base of her throat and she looked up to the tom. As he bent down, closer to the ground, Robinkit took it as a sign that he was a friend, and that her mother was just joking around. She let out a small laugh, eyes shining with excitement. "My name is Robinkit. Who are you?" she questioned.

Lynxkit blinked confused for a moment as well but stayed put even though the tom introduced himself as their grandfather their mother d idnt seem like she was joking about calling them back.

Cherryfang let a low growl rumble in her throat. Almost like a threat"Oh so now your a grandfather!"She snapped before her head moved hearing her kits. She flattened her ears ever so slightly not that she was doing this in front of the kits but for one thing to her they needed to not know her problems between her and her father. She tried not to show too much agression in front of her kits but she wasnt one for joking at least not right now.

Swoopkit frowned at the explanation his mother gave. If this wasn't a friend, why was he calling his mother's name? Was he an enemy? For a second he drew back fearfully, but then smiled and trotted back towards his mother. He wasn't just a friend of Cherryfang, he was her father! Though he was confused about why they had to go back to their mother, he didn't question it. At Robinkit's words, he laughed and batted at her head playfully. She was so confused! "He isn't just her friend Rpbinkit, he's her father! That's what she meant!"
After that was all clarified, he sat down and started grooming himself. But as his sister ran back up, his curiosity and need for new friends was too much to bare. He launched himself back towards his grandfather and grinned up at him. He was about to echo the other kit's question, when his mother spoke again. This time, she seemed really angry. Scared, he pressed into Robinkit and whimpered, slowly pushing her inch by inch towards their mother.

Robinkit allowed herself a small grin when her brother batted her on the head. It didn't hurt, really. "That the best you can do?" she laughed at her brother. When her mother growled, Robinkit pressed her ears flat to her head, turning back to look at her mother. She did not object when Swoopkit pressed into her, moving her closer to Cherryfang. "Mother?" she asked quietly, bracing herself for Cherryfang's next words. A small sense of fear and worry glinted in her bright green eyes. She moved her tail, brushing it across her brother's side, in an attempt to comfort him. Her ears still flat to her head, Robinkit slowly and cautiously padded closer to her mother.

"My name's Leafstorm. Pleased to make your acquaintance!" Leafstorm meowed jokingly before looking up at his daughter.
"What, so I'm not allowed to spend a little time with my eldest daughter's children?" Leafstorm mewed in a friendly tone. His tail flicked ever so slightly as he stepped forward. "I know you're not happy about Specklefang, but no matter who else I care for, I'll always love my little flower the most. Nothing you ever do will change that. Why, you could run off with some tomcat from Skyclan, but that will never change how I feel about you."
The grizzled tabby sighed, but he mustered a smile. "I'm excited to meet their father!" He purred proudly. "Look at you, all grown up..." The tall tom turned his attention back to the kits, his tufted ears twitching with faint amusement.

"Alright, little ones. Step closer, don't be afraid! Come now, little one. What's your name, Lynxkit? and Robinkit, too! And you, you're a tough little fellow, aren't you? Would you like to hear the story of how I was captured by Twolegs?"

Robinkit listened to her grandfather with curiosity. Her ears pricked up when he said her name. "You were captured by twolegs? Wow..." her voice trailed off in awe. She continued to look up at Leafstorm. "Please, tell me more!" Robinkit asked, her tail flicking from side to side as she slowly stepped away from Cherryfang and towards Leafstorm.

Cherryfang seemed to falter as he called her his little flower. Her til bristled but her anger finished a little bit"you know that isn't the problem"She mewed tail flicking back and forth"I don't have problem with it anymore my problem is was the fact that you never loved my mother and didn't care what if I left or not"She felt her neck fur bristle but she tried not to. She was angry about those words the words that never left her mind. She took notice, or well more like she could tell,of how she frightened Robinkit and Swoopkit and she instantly felt bad. Wanting to soothe the scared kits she bent her head down and licked there head gently before she looked in her father's direction. She didn't want to say anything but the sad part was was that his example w asnt that far off from the fact that these kits father was from Skyclan."the father....what do you mean..."She spoke keeping the nervousness from her voice.

Lynxkit hadn't been sure what to do but she then looked to Leafstorm hesitant but she puffed her little chest up her white tail tip flicked back and forth"yeah I'm Lynxkit "She mewed with confidence and the hint of an attidute."yeah did you fight one?"She asked curiously coming over.
