Mallowpaw let go of the eagle as it was hard to keep grasping. It flew a few feet before swooping down and raking the she-cat's back. Mallowpaw let out a yelp of suprise and pain.

Mallopaw let out a growl of anger before climbing up a tree. As the bird came swooping once more, Mallowpaw jumped from the branch she was on, with claws ready, and landed on its back. It was brought back to the ground where Hollowpaw could have better access.

Mallowpaw struck one final blow to the eagle's head with an unsheathed paw. The bird no longer moved so it was safe to say that it was dead. The blind apprentice turned to her clan-mate with a relieved expression. "Hollowpaw! We did it! I think i'll bring it back to camp as freshkill." The she-cat dragged the limp body of the bird to where her first kill was. She walked of in search of a piece of prey she could bring back to camp along with her other prey and the dead eagle.
