Some Weird Rat Crawled Out The Fence... (OPEN)

Mange carried his prize, a chicken bone with scraps on it, his paws scraping the gravel as he darted away from the trash can, leaving behind the two other loners who had been trying to find the same thing behind. Spotting a gap in a fence of a garden, he squeezed his little body through the gap and tumbled into the odd short and soft grass. With a smirk on his face, he caught his breath and settled down to eat the hard-earned meal. The lanky kit lifted his head when he scented another cat nearby, using his paws to pull the food underneath him.

Night scavenged through a dumpster. He clawed open a strange black coating, trash spilling out. He noticed something weird, a brown glob of web, with some green spots here and there, but he didn't care about that. His attention was focused on some meat in the middle, then he grabbed it. It wasn't all green and gross like the brown webbing surrounding it. He jumped down and leaped on a fence. When he looked over he saw a kit laying in the gardens. He could slightly spot a glimpse of bone tucked under the kit. He simply stood there and looked at the kit, waiting to see what he'll do.

The kit twisted himself around to look at the much, much larger tom. Orange eyes were wide and sharp as he stared. Then, he reminded himself that the other was most likely expecting some sort of formality. Mange smiled his snaggletoothed grin and flicked his ear. He was a sneaky kit but, he wasn't a rude one. At least by the alleycat standards. "Well don't be a stranger- uh... stranger... I'm Mange." the kit stood up, his height didn't increase any more than a whisker as he did so. His scraggly tail and large ears were the only things that made him seem to grow. A small gust blew through his thin pelt, making him shiver slightly, however his smile didn't falter.

Night nodded and jumped down. He dropped the meat in order to speak. "Hello, Mange. I'm Night." he said. He realized how strange he looked just standing there staring."I was just waiting to see what'd you do. The loners here are all different. Some are friendly, some are not." he explained.

The kit couldn't help but snicker a bit, I'm hardly a reason to be cautious, I'm like a mouse next to you!" He mewed, rearing up on his hind legs with outstretched paws to emphasize his point. "Besides, I don't know my way around here in the slightest!" Mange dropped back down to the ground, eyes darting around the garden. He wondered if any cat actually lived in it.

Night blinked. "You can't make assumptions by the size of the cat." he simply said. "Even if someone's smaller, that's no reason to be comfortable." he added. He blinked again and his eyes wandered to a few places before focusing back on Mange.

Mange couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeah, sure... I hope everyone else thinks that way,
it'll save me some scars." The tom smiled up at the larger cat, "So, do you live with twolegs? I haven't seen you before."

Brooke walked along the dark ally with a little bit of chicken she'd just snagged from another cat it was quietet but she knew that there where hungry rouges and loners out there in the shadows of the ally. She came into a lighter place and saw some fences, twolegs she tough and jumped up on a fence looking around. She saw a kit and a loner. She walked on the fence towards a little table in the other side of the yard.
