Are you serious, Leafstorm? (Speckles kits topic)

How'd she let this happen again? Like honestly, she had work to be doing but she was weighed down with another litter of rambunctious kittens. While Specklefang was dying inside each in every day, her energy sapped by the little loveable parasites at her belly, Leafstorm was taking them out to play and she couldn't have asked for a better mate.

Spottedkit was a little orange spotted bundle that couldn't wait to be born. She was getting tired of the same things in her moms belly. All her sisters and brothers keep pushing her out of the way. The only kit that liked her was foxkit and they became best friends. The moms belly was getting really crowded and her siblings started to kick each other for room. So far she couldn't wait to get out of this place.

OCC: srry I know they aren't born yet but I wanted to post about what my kit thought life was so far.

Foxkit wiggled around. He lifted his head a slowly opened his eyes. He scanned his surroundings, then bundled up against Specklefang.

OOC: Short/mobile, but I'm confused, are they born yet? Or are they still in her belly? If they are unborn then I can edit this post to fit that instead.

Nightkit lifted her head and gazed around with droopy, sleepy eyes. She was itching to go and run around. She got up onto her wobbly paws and made her journey to Specklefang's head. "Mother, I want to play." she squeaked quietly. The little she-kit let out a small growl, trying to sound intimidating. She began to stumble back to her mother's tail. The kit wrestled it with her small but sharp claws and teeth.

Foxkit slowly rose to his paws. "Play?" he mewed. "I wanna play!" He playfully batted at Nightkit's ears.

Spottedkit wasn't used to all the noise so she went to her mom and drank milk. Being just born she couldn't see a thing and she had to find her way by smell and sound. She knew her sis was close by but she didn't know what she smelled like. "mama where are you." she mewed. She felt her sister next to her and started to lick her sis.

Rolling onto her back and sprawling out in a rather ungraceful manner, Thistlekit let out a soundless yawn as she slowly woke up from her latest nap. Lifting her short little limbs up into the air above her head, she let out another wide, noiseless yawn as she stretched her limbs until they trembled with the effort. Rolling over once more and scooting forwards so that closer to Specklefang's front, the fluffy little she-kit let out a surprisingly loud purr as she nuzzled herself into the soft and bushy fur of her mother's chest. "Momma!" Thistlekit squawked softly, reaching out to paw at Specklefang's face.

Morningkit lay curled up against her mother's side, her soft flank of gently-coloured fur rose and fell to the sound of her sleepy breaths. "Please be quiet..." She yawned in response to her noisy siblings, gaping her baby-tooth ridged mouth. The long-furred kit nuzzled her patched face into what she thought was Specklefang's belly, but was instead the haunches of her sister, Thistlekit.

Spottedkit opened her eyes for the first time and saw how strong her brother looked. She crawled towards foxkit then saw morningkit try to drink from thistlekit. "MOM morning kit thinks thistlekit is you." she yelled at her mom. She got to fox kit then curled up next to him. She went to sleep and used his warmth like she did with her mom.

Leafstorm, who was there the whole time please don't kill me, purred and nosed their litter away from Specklefang gently. "Alright everyone," He mewed softly, herding them outside.
"Let's let your mother sleep. She needs to save her energy. Besides, it's a nice day."

The birth had gone relatively easy, but Leafstorm's nerves were shot. Horrifying thoughts of Cherryblossom's death had left him weak, but he managed to stand and greet his kits nonetheless.

Spottedkit has never been outside so when her dad said they where she jumped right up and fallowed everyone outside. When they got there there where so many cats that stopped and looked at them. "its huge." she said in awww. She went to find foxkit and when she did she stuck with him.

Despite Morningkit's plea for their littermates to quiet down, Thistlekit instead let out another loud, shrill squeak of surprise as her sister almost took a chunk out of her haunches. "Stopp..!" The fluffy she-kit squawked in protest as she wriggled away and flopped ungracefully onto her belly so that she could shakily rise to her paws as Leafstorm spoke. Shakily rising to her still newborn-weak limbs and flouncing after Spottedkit, the already incredibly fluffy little she-kit paused for a moment to rub up against Spottedkit before continuing on eagerly.

Stumbling to a halt a few tail-lengths away from Leafstorm, Thistlekit turned to look at her father with pale green eyes that were wide with a mixture of wonder and apprehension. Why was everything so big? Even the other cats that occasionally popped into the nursery looked as tall as giants! "I wanna go outside! Like.." The little she-kit paused for a moment to look up at Leafstorm as she struggled to think of what she actually meant to say before affirming, "Real outside."

Specklefang huffed plainly as she looked down at her kits, all of them fussing and already bickering at each other. Specklefangs head seemed to fill with white noise, her back twitching as she quickly became irritable. Turning away from her kittens she curled up, her tail coming to wrap around her. She loved them, she really did but their incessant screeching and whining was a lot for her.

Spottedkit ran towards morningkit and thistlekit and attacked them then ran and attacked them again. "try to get me." she said laughing.
