Familial Bonding Training to Stop Rock's Laziness [Closed]

Rockpaw was tired of being lazy with his apprenticeship, but he wasn't sure how to go about it. His older brother was already a warrior, which caused some uneasiness around the two, but now was the time for action. He padded up to the warrior's den and poked his head in. "Amberpelt, Snailbelly, are you in there?" He asked.

Amberpelt sat curled in the warrior's den, her muzzle tucked neatly under her tail. Her ears twitched at the sound of pawsteps, pulling her from her nap as she heard a familiar voice. "Rockpaw?" she questioned softly as she raised her head, letting out a toothy yawn before she spotted him. It was...Odd, to say the least that one of her kits had become a warrior while the others was an apprentice when they were the same litter and the proud queen felt conflicted what to to think. Should be she upset that her son wasn't living up to the standard she had expected or was she to be a kind and understanding mother? She shook her head as she pulled herself to her paws, streaching out her limbs as she gave her son a confused look. "What is it?"

Snailbelly was busy refusing to wake up. He had been fast asleep, enjoying a splendid dream. Pawsteps had stirred him somewhat, but he wanted to return to what he had been dreaming of. Then Amberpelt had gotten up and addressed his brother, Rockpaw. Oh! Rockpaw! His littermate!

"Rockpaw...?" he murmured groggily.

"Sorry to wake you two, but I need help," he started. "I'm tired of, well, being a rock. I'm ready to get my training done so I can be a warrior. Do you two think you can help me?" He hated how relaxed he had been and how little his mentor had forced him to go out. He didn't blame his mentor, however, because it was all Rockpaw's fault.

Amberpelt blinked in surprise as Rockpaw explained why he had woken them up. Her expression lighten as she let out a small chuckle, knowing now how to feel about him - proud that he was learning responsible. "Of course, I will be happy to help you finish your training," she purred as she stepped from her nest and crossed the den, brushing her cheek against Rockpaw's before she turned to look at her other son who was still trying to wake himself up. "Come along Snailbelly," she called to him with a light, happy tone. "I think its time for a family patrol." With that, she brushed past Rockpaw and into the camp clearing, stretching out her limbs in the warm sunlight before she padded toward the entrance of the camp to wait for her sons to catch up.
