Adventurous kit

Rosekit looked out of the nusery. It was the middle of the night and most of the adults where sleeping. She looked back in the nusery where her family slept then back outside. She decided to explore the camp. She sneaked out of the nusery and went straight to the elders den. When she was done with the elders den she went back in the nusery to tired to explore. She laid next to her mom and started to wait till her fam woke up.

Between Larksong and her own kits, there were so many little paws trampling about that it was a wonder the queen could ever get any sleep. The last time that one of her children, Rosekit, came running back in to play about, she'd finally lifted her head with a sleepy mumble. "You're going to make someone trip scurrying around like a mouse," she teased, pawing away gently at the kit's ear. "Are you sleepy yet?"

Rosekit started to play with her moms tail. "im not done yet." she said laughing. She jumped on her mom and chewed her ear.

There was a part of Smokestripe that was giddy with excitement...Which perhaps would attest to his inability to sleep. And so he lingered outside of the warrior's den, curled up as he lazily kept guard for...Something. He wasn't expecting anything exciting to happen. That was until he caught a flicker of movement in the corner of his eye, turning his gaze to see a small form scurrying across the camp and ducking into the nursery. He raised an eyebrow, recognize the shape before it disappeared as he pulled himself to his paws.

On swift paws, he crossed the camp and followed after his daughter only to paused with a small chuckle as he found himself witness to Rosekit clambering all over her mother. "Be nice to your mother's ear," he called softly as he moved over to the two, a warm flickering his eyes as he reached down to touch noses with his mate before he focused on the young kit. "She is going to need that ear to listen to all of your exciting stories about being an apprentice when you become a 'paw."

"ok daddy." she said and let her mom go. She thought for a second and then smiled a evil smile. In the next second she jumped on her dads back and grabbed his tail and pulled. She bite down really hard she knew he was going to have trouble. "try to get me off." she tried to say through all the fur

Ravenclaw grumbled in her sleep. One moment, she was having her first pleasant dream in a moon, with a mouse just between her and her paws; the next moment, she realized she'd awakened, with moss between her claws and a little kit gnawing away at her ear. Her other children were sound asleep as well, but Rosekit seemed hyper enough on her own that the Queen was starting to think she could run off with the warriors and keep up.

"Oh no! Smokestripe! What were you thinking, taking on the mighty Rosestar!?" she gasped playfully.

Smokestripe took a stumble backwards as Rosekit launched herself at him, letting out a pleasant laugh as clambered onto his back and bit down on his tail. There was a shock of pain as the kit bit down a little to hard but he ignored it as he gave a shake of his head as Ravenclaw noticed him. "I had to protect you my love," he responded with a warm look as he spared a glance over at his kit. "I will happily take on Rosestar herself if it means protecting you." As he spoke, he gave his body a shake in an attempt to dislodge his daughter from her perch but there wasn't much effort put into it as he was more than willing to be her chew toy if it meant sparing Ravenclaw from Rosekit's tireless energy.

Rosekit started to feel dizzy when her dad shook, but didn't show it. "yay I'm the leader of this litter fear me."she said laughing then noticed she let go on accident. "oops." she smiled. She went over to her mom and started to beg her to play.
