The silent outing (adventurous kit):

Nobody was watching. The powerful warrior stalked through the shadows like a shadowy spirit. He was getting closer to his target. It was helpless and weak. His claws were swiftly unsheathed and as if Starclan had stopped time around him, he had pounced on the creature with swiftness. It squirmed in his grasp. He gave a smirk before crushing its squishy body.

The beetle had been hunted. His clan will praise him for his work. Silentkit left the dead bug splattered on the ground with a prideful look. The small tom let out a satisfied purr and continued treading through unknown territory, or just from the outside of the nursery.

The kit just wanted to be free like the warriors, so he made his way to the warrior's den for a little look. He was too sneaky for his own good, or so he thought.

Echopaw trotted up to the kit, blocking his path from where he was going- presumibly the warrior's den. "Nice catch." The apprentice said with amusement in her eyes. "But you'll probably get smushed in there." the apprentice leaned down to the kit not much smaller than her, and booped his head with her nose.

Silentkit pouted and huffed. "I'm not that small." he muttered. He looked up at the apprentice with a tiny smile. "My name's Silentkit! What's yours?" the tom asked.
