Welcome to the Family(open)

Lichenfang smiled softly at the kits at her flank. She had yet another litter and of course She also adopted a kit. Ivykit,their adopted kit would be welcomed in her and Leopardclaw's family as if their very own and she wouldn't treat the kit any different. Her moss green gaze then moved to her son ,Falconkit,with a small purr. She nudged them awake with a small smile"it's time to wake up little ones."She mewed gently.

Orchidpaw had heard about her new younger siblings and was eager to go see them. Padding over to the nursery she pushed her way in with a smile."hey mom"She mewed.

The golden-brown ball of fur at Lichenfang's side began to move, and soon unfurled to reveal long, mahogany limbs. The kit let out a small mew as it squinted it's eyes and writhed around, pressing against the second petite mass. Eventually, after much discontented wriggling, Falconkit's eyelids peeled back, unveiling his malachite eyes. He frowned slightly as he surveyed his surroundings.

His sister's pale green eyes opened soon after his, and the small calico mewed gently into her mother's flank. A small noise outside caused her to jump, and she started to look around. A confused look came over the kit's face, and she began to wiggle closer to her mother, her curious eyes darting around.

Ivykit slowly opened her eyes. She stretched and yawned, then blinked and looked around. Curiously, she attempted to move from the nest to explore, but she was still very sleepy. She retreated back to the warmth of her mother's fur.

Mintkit had managed to wriggle over to Ivykit, and her pale green eyes examined her adopted sister with interest. Playfully, she batted at Ivykit's nose.

Ivykit blinked in surprise. She grinned and lightly batted back at Mintkit.

Mintkit mewled in delight and stuck her nose in Ivykit's fur.

Ivykit purred a rolled over a bit away from her sister. She tried to stand up. Staggering, she rose to full height, which only lasted a second before she fell over. "Oof!" She squeaked. She crawled back to Mintkit and proceeded to playfully batt at her tail.

Meanwhile, Mintkit had noticed Falconkit and proceeded to toothlessly gnaw on his ear.

Lichenfang purred watching the kits with warm moss green eyea.

Leopardclaw's paws felt light as clouds as the spotted golden tom ducked into the nursery, a plump mouse held firmly between his teeth.  Taking a moment to purr a greeting to Orchidpaw, he gave his older kit a friendly nuzzle before turning his gaze towards Lichenfang, and their newest litter of beautiful kits.  His hazel eyes glowing with joy, the ThunderClan deputy smiled down at his calico mate before placing the mouse at her paws, and giving her forehead a loving lick.  "Good morning love, how are all of you doing?"  Shifting his gaze onto the three young kittens at his mate's belly; a golden brown tom named Falconkit, a little calico she-cat named Mintkit who looked so much like her mother and older sisters, and the little brown tabby, Ivykit.  His heart still ached for the poor kit; she had been abandoned much like himself and his mate had been all those moons ago, but the thought of being able to raise her with a loving, supportive family made him happier than he could ever say.  With a smile, he watched as the kit's eyes began to open, and they began to squirm and explore.

Falconkit let out a weak growl at his sister, Mintkit, who had decided his ear was a more tasty snack than their mother's milk. He sent a sheathed paw her way in an attempt to free his ear, landing it directly on her forehead. After a quick glare at the calico kit, he cast his verdant gaze to the largest cat in the nursery- a golden warrior who towered over the tom of the litter, despite him being large for his age. To hide the slight intimidation his father draped over him, Falconkit precariously hoisted his body onto his legs, drawing himself into a sitting position, and lifted his chin to greet Leopardclaw. However this pose did not last long, as his developing legs collapsed underneath him. He attempted to make eye contact from the floor, but his attention diverted to the small brown lump at the end of his muzzle. "What's that?" He squeaked, twitching his whiskers in interest,

Mintkit also gazed up at the golden warrior that was her father, but her first impression of Lepoardclaw was the love in his eyes. Mewling, she waved her silky paws at him, wanting him to come closer.

OOC: I'm kinda new to WCC.. how do you make your character's sentence colored? XD

Ivykit lightly grinned at Leopardclaw. She staggered to her paws. This time, she was able to walk. She took slow steps to her father. "Hi!" She mewed. She sniffed the mouse. "That smells goods!"

Lichenfang purred and smiled"doing good so far thank you"She mewed before she took a small bite of the mouse before she blinked looking to Ivykit"it's a mouse"She purred smiling at her adopted daughter before looking to Falconkit then Mintkit.
