It felt beyond strange to have an apprentice again.

As Palegaze sat outside the apprentice den, waiting patiently for Creampaw to emerge, thoughts of his past raced through his mind. Goodness.. Even just sitting in the middle of ThunderClan's camp felt beyond strange, and he'd been back for two moons already. He wasn't sure how long he'd been gone, really, but it felt like three lifetimes. He didn't know anyone. He didn't even recognize anyone.

It was like a completely different Clan.
