Come one come all. (Open to apprentices)

The night was warm and the air was still. It wasn't a stuffy, uncomfortable warm though. It was the kind of warm where you could just sit and smell the night air. The moon had almost climbed to the top of the sky, and stars were splattered around it like carelessly scattered dewdrops.
Rowantalon had grown from a clumsy and curious apprentice to a confident and loyal warrior. He had grown into his large feet and his pelt, which had once been ruffled and out-of-place, now lay sleekly across his body.
It wasn't only his appearance that had changed- he had quickly learned self control as well as fighting skills. After all, sometimes silence was a better choice than a biting retort.

Now it was time to teach the others what he had learned.
The large tom's muscles rippled beneath his handsome red pelt as he slowly padded towards the apprentice's den. His green eyes shone like beacons through the darkness and he suppressed a purr as he ducked into the den. Half of the space was claimed by his offspring, but his eyes roved over them and landed on Flintpaw.

"I'm going on a patrol," he mewed softly before turning and padding towards the camp entrance. He would take whichever apprentice woke up first out to explore the night territory.

Being a cat who mostly spent his nights awake, Crowpaw stirred at hearing a familiar voice. He awoke to see his father walk out of the apprentice's den. He wanted to spend time with him, so he rose and quietly followed behind Rowantalon trying not to awaken those who didn't want to come. As his father reached the camp entrance, he decided that was a good time to greet him. "H-Hello dad." he quietly greeted. "M-May I come w-with you?" he asked barley above a whisper.

It was a few days after her ceremony and Snowpaw could barely control her excitement. She hasn't seen much of their territory other then a few small patrols. She could hardly sleep that night thanks to the thoughts of exploring or learning something new tomorrow. So when she heard somebody come in and that they were going on a patrol her eyes instantly snapped open. It made her even more excited that she saw her father's pelt which means he was leading it. A patrol with Rowantalon!! Instantly getting to her paws not even bothering to smooth down her ruffled pelt she headed out and she might have not been quiet about it in the least.

Her tail high in the air and her eyes sparkling she beamed as she saw Crowpaw, she hasn't really spoken with her brother so that made her more happy. "Dad can I come!? I want to see more of the territory! And maybe hunt something? I haven't learned how to hunt quite yet but I'll figure it out!" Her voice was loud so loud that it echoed through camp.

Wildpaw looked over at the small gathering of cats as she woke up from a light sleep, all her kin. A patrol? Carefully she padded up to the group, tail flicking in the night air. "Is this some kind of a patrol? May I join you?"
