2..4..6... WAIT (Speckle kits topic, everyone welcome)

Owlkit hissed back and held fast. "That all you can do"She hissed back as batted at her sister before jumping back tail lashing.

Unable to sleep from all the rolling commotion, the dark tortoiseshell tom opened one eye and twitches his nose. The air smelled thickly of a mothers milk. Not his own mother's, of course, and the thought gave him a twinge in his stomach. He didn't really remember her at all, though; he had a been a lone orphan since his kitting. Still, the idea that he didn't have any immediate family made him feel like an outcast. A queen with a bit of extra room had loaned him milk until he was able to go without it, and he was old enough to go without milk now, so he had his own nest in the nursery.

The orange splotched kit slowly got up and stretched. He padded between the nests until he was just behind the pile of younger kits. He looked down at them, not in a mean or annoyed way, just with a gaze that said he wasn't afraid to speak the truth. "You woke me up from my nap." With his paw, he gently prodded the writhing catpile.

"So? Who cares? We're having fun!" Ravenkit hissed. The big fluffy kit was nearly bigger than the tom who came over to them. The gray and black kit narrowed his yellow eyes at the tom.

The kit's  mostly-green eyes narrowed on the fluffy kit. He was about to snap back, but he stopped himself. "And who are you?"

Ravenkit sneered. "Im Ravenkit. And you are? Not that I really care but I guess it's rude to not ask the others name?" The tom mewled with a roll of his eyes.

"I'm Sparkkit." He tried to contain it, but his calm demeanor snapped. "And I'm sorry that you don't like being able to get away with whatever you want, but other cats live in the nursery, too! But you probably didn't know that. You're too young and self-absorbed."

Boarkit hissed back and Sharpkit playfully, pouncing onto her and flailing his small paws in the air as he beat at her. His small claws hooked into her silky fur as he frantically attacked her playfully. "You'll have to defeat me to become leader!" he hissed.

Sharpkit squeaked in surprise as Boarkit tackled her. "Go back to the marsh, Shadowclanner!"
The kit hissed and batted his face gently with her paws. " You'll never defeat me!"
With a triumphant wiggle, she managed to escape his grasp.

She turn with a grin and leapt back into the fray, pouncing on top of Noarkit and standing proudly on his back.
The young she-cat froze. "Boarkit, look who's talking to Ravenkit." She clambered off of him, her attention captured by this surly stranger.
The large kit hissed softly. "We're actually older than you," she pointed out, turning to Boarkit for backup. Their battle wasn't over, but family came first.
Her nose wrinkled. "Where are your parents- are you a rouge?"

Wrenkit fluffed up and the she-cat padded over to Sparkkit and the others, hissing, she said, " Don't be so rude! Would you like it if someone sneered at you if you were at least part Rouge?" she touched her tail to Sparkkit's shoulder and padded off to where she was resting.

OOC: 1) Spark is younger? :0
2) Spark doesn't have much social experience (no siblings or parents) so oftentimes he says things, not trying to make people mad, but ending up with them mad.

IC: He barely glanced at Wrenkit. It wasn't that he wasn't thankful for her kindness, but he kept his gaze on the other kits; he had to deal with them first. "I'm Sparkkit." He spoke bluntly. Not in a way that asked for attention, that was just how he talked. "My parents are dead."

Specklefang gave a rather stressed huff / laugh, her eyebrow raising as she looked at Leafstorm. "They'll be by my side on the battle field and we'll be winning territory left and right, sunningrocks will be ours some day." She huffed, her ear twitching towards the rising chatter of her kits towards one of the orphans. Huffing she got to her paws and padded over, her back brushing against the nursery ceiling.

"Now, what do we have here? A little squabble? Nothing mama can't fix." Specklefang hissed, leering down at Sparkkit with a lash of her tail. Mockery on the tip of her tongue, but she'd leave it up to her kits. "Come along, Wrenkit, Ravenkit, Boarkit and Sharpkit. How about you all go play moss ball outside? You shouldn't bother with other cats if they're going to talk to you like you're not the same." She meowed, sweeping her long bushy tail behind them and ushering them away, not giving them a choice.

Owlkit blinked when Wrenkit ignored her and her dark fur bristled before she watched the interaction. The tabby kitten with fluffy fur and a somewhat big form for a kit her age looked around for something to pummel not having her siblings to wrestle with at the moment.

Sparkkit tried to defend himself as the ornery queen lashed down upon him. "I- Wait!" His face fell as the kits were led away. He hadn't really meant to offend anyone; he had a bad habit of speaking too bluntly. He spoke his mind, and it often got him in trouble. "Hey..." He turned around, his head hanging, and padded slowly back to his nest.

Ravenkit let out a snort at the orphaned kit and followed behind his mother his tail raised high up in the air. Once outside the tom blinked, the nursery was so dim and had a gloomy atmosphere and outside was so bright and sunny and warm. The nursery was hot, especially with Specklefang's big litter so it was a nice change. He breathed in the earthy forest scents and closed his eyes before opening them again. He looked around for something to do when he saw a moth. The large kit raced after it and when it landed on a piece of grass inside the camp walls the tom got into his best at a hunting crouch, following the example of a few apprentices and leaped onto the moth, catching its wing in his mouth. He bounced back towards his mother and dropped the dead Moth at her paws. "Mom! Mom! Look what I caught!" The tom meowed proudly.

Creamkit followed the rest of his siblings and sat to the side of the nursery entrance watching his siblings and taking in the warm sunny day.

Wrenkit grumbled as she was forced outside with her siblings, once again taken from her rest in the protected nursery. She laid down and put her head on her paws, watching the others play around.
