The Speckle and the Snake (Death Topic)

Well, this was it. Specklestream collapsed onto the reeds A major pain ricocheted through her body. A snake had come out of the reeds and bit her while she was hunting. StarClan was calling her, wether she liked it or not.

She thought of her life as she died. Icetail, Flamestrile, her kits, all of that.

Her beautiful forest brown eyes slowly began to turn a dull, cloudy gray. She meowed softly as her eyes closed and reopened. Her pelt shone like stars. She was in StarClan, now.

IC: Salmonstripe was heading to go icefish. She walked steadily across the ground but stopped when she smelled it. A lethal snake. Another smell of blood, and her last friend... A...no... Salmonstripe's heart figuratively broke in two. She let out a mourningful wail, one like a defeated cry. She collapsed to the ground and sobbed into her friend's fur, uncaring if the snake bit her, too, and sent her to StarClan. She would be able to see all her friends again. She continued to cry and wail, then at last she said, "I-I wish you well, S-Specklestream," She dragged the limp body back to the camp and let one final tear drop.
