The tom wasn't dissapointed at all after that failed catch. Those things happened to him also so he just stayed quiet in his place, waiting for her to do it better next time.

Ashpaw immediately scented another scent, followed it into the grass, and pounced. She leaped on top of the creature and saw it was another bird as feather flew everywhere. She quickly killed it and grabbed her other prey, going back to the spot where she and her mentor started.

The gray-blue cat finally stood up with a proud smile on his muzzle. "Comgratulations, Ashpaw. You have prove that you have the skills of a proper warrior and there is nothing more that I can teach. Your assesment is now complete so I will inform Fishstar about your results. I hope to see you soon in your warrior ceremony. Now let's go back to the camp." He said walking back to the Riverclan camp happy and proud of his apprentice who will be soon a warrior like him.

Ashpaw lit up with joy. She had finished. Walking back to camp with her mouth full of prey, she knew not long in the future she might be doing this with an apprentice if her own.
