Leafkit gazed up at the apprentice, stars in her eyes. "Really? Can you show us some moves?"

Flintpaw smiled. "I would, but I think Leapordstar would want you to wait until you're apprenticed. I don't want to get in trouble." she purred at the kit's enthusiasm. "Trust me, 6 moons may seem like a long time, but on the day of your ceremony you'll look back and think that time flew by. I know that I did. It had only been her ceremony a moon ago, but Flintpaw as already settling into life as an apprentice. The only thing she disliked was having to work for the elders, but that was even more reason to want to become a warrior.

Leafkit pouted, her whiskers drooping slightly. "But six moons IS long! Besides, it's not like Leopardstar's watching or anything, you shouldn't get into trouble!" To prove her point, she started swiping at a leaf on the ground, trying to look confident even though her growl sounded more like a purr.

Tuftkit could barely contain himself at the sight of the leaf. He finally gave in and pounced on it.
