| Dawnpaw yawned and stretched outside of the apprentices' den. He was ready for anything and wanted to do something immediately, so he scoured camp for anyone else who might want to patrol or hunt. |

| Talonpaw slipped into camp somewhat inconspicuously, his gray tabby paws quietly padding against the trampled camp grass. He eyed the fresh-kill coming into his view with scrutiny. Ugh, he thought with exaggerated despair, no fresh hares or shrews. I'll have to change that. The tall tom padded by where the apprentices sat and relaxed, subtly looking for anyone itching to hunt. His eyes caught a young apprentice who seemed to be looking around.
"Hey!" he called flicking his tail at the apprentice," It's Dew-Dawnpaw, right? You wanna go hunt real quick? There's nothing good to eat." He added the last line with a hint of irritation.

| Newtpaw slowly went out of the apprentice's den eagerly heading towards bigger group of WindClan apprentices. They were waiting for something or someone. Smart as she was she figured out that there was patrol begging. "Mind you if I join?" She asked rhetorical question sure that they will accept her. She was WindClan apprentice after all. Then she meowed looking all around: "We really need some warrior for leading us? I wonder who will come?"
