A New Deputy For A New Leader [ThunderClan]

Reedpaw listened sadly and concerned about Blizzardshine words. It was sad to hear that Darkstar, the cat that gave him his apprentice name, would leave her position but if she wasn't feeling good anymore to be a leader, then he understood her choice. However, the news didn't stop there. Darkstar was stepping down, so Blizzardshine would be the leader now and she was going to choose a new deputy. Who could it be? There was a lot of warriors and the apprentice was overly curious about the chosen cat.
The eyes of the young tom widened up and soon stared at the pale golden spotted tabby tom that was his father. He couldn't believe it... but it was real. His father was the new deputy of Thunderclan! He stood up and smiled, letting a purr escape from his mouth before he started saying his name like the others. Reedpaw was so happy for Leoparclaw and he strongly believed that he deserved that honor since he was the best warrior in all the clan for the pale golden cat. No matter what would happen, Reedpaw knew that his father would always protect his family and clan, so he took a choice too. He would put all his efforts in doing an awesome job as an apprentice and as a future warrior to be a worthy son of the new deputy.

Leafpaw's eyes widened in shock. Nightstar... stepping down?. The wise and kind leader had lead Thunderclan for the apprentice's entire life. He blinked as waves of shock hit him.

The new deputy of Thunderclan is Leopardclaw.
The tom felt a purr rise in his throat. Leopardclaw was a wise choice. The tom was brave, true, but he also cared deeply for the entire clan. He was smart and level-headed in all situations. He shot a wide grin to his mentor, Lichenfang, before approaching Leopardclaw. "Congratulations!" The tom crowed before joining in with the other cats' chanting.
"Leopardclaw, Leopardclaw!"

Hawkpaw let out a rumbly purr. Leopardclaw was a great choice for the rank. The large apprentice looked at Blizzardshine warmly with a soft nod, hearing her words about the choice were the same as her initial fuel to bring him into ThunderClan after Bear's unfortunate death. Leopardclaw had done nothing to quell the fight and fury in Hawkpaw, driven to work hard to defend what he believed in. Silently their views may have parted at that but, nevertheless did he respect the spotted tom. He looked to his mentor, chuckling. "Ah, show some excitement, Leopardclaw, you're​ acting like me..." He meowed with a smirk at the deputy. He was certain that Leopardclaw would do just fine. Whip the clan into shape with more discipline than a lot of them had.
