Shiny pebbles

Puddlekit neatly stacked his pile of polished pebbles in a pile, their luster shine as alluring as a piece of fresh-kill. The tom stacked a silver stone on top of a few beige, one red tinted, and a blue pebble. The pile shuddered precariously as the tom bit his lip out of worry, his green-blue eyes watching it like a hawk. Once it stilled the tom let out a gusty sigh of relief, swiping the back of his paws against his mouth. His pile was steady and complete! Right in the middle of camp, obstructing everyone's way! Chirruping in delight the fluffy tom bounced away to skitter in the shadows, watching.
