Pepper dragged herself around the barn, checking for any dangers or growing herbs. Catmint grew in a patch of dirt exposed from the floor. Marigold gathered in patches around the barn and spring was pleasantly warm. The she-cat purred, satisfied with the check and simply returned inside. There, she piled prey neatly, working to stay mobile. Then to the nest scraps as well as a new bundle made for Rockthorn who was just as stubborn as she was, perhaps more.

Things to look for:

Look closely at Pepper's text color, it changes to a lighter color as her plot progresses!

Any topic that affects a cross between Bat and Pepper will have something to do with fire.

Morningfog will occasionally have a topic that relates to mornings. These may or may not be important. It's mostly just for fun.
