| Cloudpaw had been deep in sleep and had not woken up until the pungent smell of smoke was almost over-whelming. Great StarClan.. There's a fire! He leaped to his paws immediately, racing out of the apprentices den, he tried scenting for his father, but the smoke was too overpowering. Hissing in annoyance, he slowly made his way around camp. He had somewhat memorized the camps layout, but he was still on the track to mastering that. Coughing harshly, he felt faint, but he suddenly bumped into someone. "Oh.." He murmured before the familiar scent of his sister and father hit him. "Rosepaw! Dad!" He yowled over the roar of the fire.
Suddenly it got cooler, like almost all at once. What in the.. He started before his clanmates began saying something about a mist. A mist? How? "Dad what's going on? What's happened now?"
Fawnsplash awoke with a start to the sharp scent of smoke. There was a fire?! Oh StarClan help us! She prayed silently, making her way out of the den. She found her way to the middle of camp just as this huge wave of mist made its way towards them, engulfing the fire and putting it out. "How in the name of StarClan..?" She started aloud, voice coated with shock.
Frost That Blankets The Brook woke with a start. What was going on? There was a.. a fire? "Whats a fire?!" She yowled in vain. Nobody was listening to her. Finding Storm, she stuck close to his side. "What's going on?" She questioned quietly. She hated this. Maybe they'd have been better off in the mountains.. Suddenly there was a mist and it was putting the fire out. She glanced up at Storm, eyes wide with shock. "What was that?" She asked, not quite sure how to feel at the moment besides exhausted. ______________________________________ |

| From the very heartbeat that Addergaze had scented the hair-raising scent of smoke, she had immediately scrambled to her paws and dashed outside of the den to face whatever foe was perched upon their doorstep. The thick column of smoke that was floating lazily up into the sky made her rear back slightly- a fire? Already?! It was fairly early in the New-Leaf season for everything to already go up in flames! The massive tabby she-cat continued to watch the flames with narrowed eyes as her Clanmates scrambled to and fro in an attempt to round up all of the other cats; practically stepping all over eachother in the process.
However, before she could even begin to join in the panic that had befallen her Clanmates, the flames and all of its smoke had...vanished! A strange mist had befallen the clearing and effectively smothered the life out of the treacherous flames, leaving nothing but a few smoldering husks of the poor trees the flames had preyed upon. Her amber eyes went wide with disbelief as she continued to stand there and observe the strange occurrence- in all honestly she had no idea how to process the chaotic events that had just unfolded. Shaking her massive head, she spotted Rippedsky's skinny form weaving through the crowd of confused cats and she immediately set off towards the Deputy with a slightly anxious step. "Rippedsky," Addergaze grunted as she reached the black and white tom, "Have you seen Aspenkit?" She questioned, frowning slightly as she mentioned her own heavily impaired son.
-
Screech of the Startled Eagle watched with wide eyes as the fire was effectively choked away, his dark fur bristling at the sight of the strange fog that had appeared just in the nick of time to save them all. 'What a strange place! Clan cats and their weird names and spontaneous fires and magical mist!' He reflected, nervously stepping out further into the clearing, face screwing up at the scent of smoke. Perhaps their ancestors had followed them to this strange place after all as there was no other explanation for this sudden appearance of savior-like mist! The young tom slithered further away from the den he had been placed in when the Tribe had first arrived, observing the charred trees with interest. Pausing beside Swoop, he pressed himself softly against his former mentor in a display of concern. "Do you really think it was our ancestors?" Screech questioned quietly, looking at the Kit-Mother with wide eyes. ______________________________________ "born of ichor & nectar; excellence already found at fingertips." resident chewer of bones & mad woman enthusiast | former administrator |

| Storm that Lights the Clouds found himself becoming more at ease as he felt the familiar pelts of his Tribemates weave around him, glancing to his side to see Swoop leaning against him. There was a sigh of relief from Storm as he leaned over, giving the kit-mother a reassuring nuzzle as she spoke, thankful that she was alright. It was a bit of an odd gesture from the cold tom but the relief he felt that his Tribemates were alright overwhelmed the thought of trying to keep his cold personality up. He pulled away from Swoop of Fierce Doves as another pelt pressed against him on the other side, turning to see Frost stepped up to him. He could only shake his head at her question. "I'm afraid I don't have an answer," he grumbled with the slightest hint of annoyance as he glanced around at SkyClan.
"...But it seems neither do they," he noted at the confusion that spread between the cats at the mist that was starting to recede - its work of saving the Clan done. SkyClan had known what fire was but by the sounds of it, they didn't know why the mist had saved them...He gave a shake of his head as Screech spoke up, joining the small group of gathered Tribe cats as they stood in the middle of the chaotic camp. "Certainly it must have been," he said in a hush tone, his gaze flickering around. "Look at the cats around us - they are as confused as we are. Certainly this is a gift from the Tribe of Endless Stars...Or StarClan as they call it." There was traces of disapproval at the name of 'StarClan' but it was only because he liked the name of Tribe of Endless Stars much better then StarClan. More fitting of their powerful ancestors. ______________________________________ Acornstar ♀ ~ Badgermask ♀ ~ Creamsky ♂ ~ Duckfeather ⚧ ~ Eveningmoon ♀ ~ Flurryshade ♂ (Not pictured) TC T5 Leader (70/200) ~ SC T5 Warrior (70/200) ~ SkC T5 Warrior (70/200) ~ RC T2 Warrior (40/110) ~ WC T2 Warrior (40/110) ~ TC T1 Warrior (30/80)Rosybrown (Forest)/ Sandybrown (Feral) ~ Indigo ~ Tan ~ Olive ~ Icyblue ~ Slategray |

| Hawkstrike sprung to his paws with a hiss as soon as the smell of smoke reached his nostrils. This wasn’t a dream, and the fire was definitely getting closer to camp. Not even thinking it twice, he started to help his clanmates to wake and warn everyone around camp so they could jump into action as well.
During his constant walking around and warning those he saw, he noticed Lilyheart going inside the nursery. He didn’t gave much of a thought to it, paying more attention to Pansyface’s words about leaving, or that was the case until the flames started to lit the nursery on fire and she didn’t came out. He gave it a couple seconds, standing near the entrance of the camp with his muscles tense and ready to bolt out to whatever safe place Rippedsky had in mind to take them to, thinking she was just making sure that nobody was left behind…but she simply wasn’t coming out and the fire and smoke engulfing the den was only growing bigger.
He looked at the exit, tempted to just leave. If he risked his life and lost the bet to destiny he wouldn’t be able to fulfill his promise to Lightingstrike and Webtail, plus, this wasn’t his fault. The fire was the one that caused all this chaos and possible death. That’s why he felt so surprised when he caught himself going against his thoughts, turning around and rushing towards the nursery, and even more when he jumped inside, feeling the flames lick at his long fur and the hot smoke trying to asphyxiate him.
“L-lilyheart?!” His voice was hoarse and low, his throat aching like if the fire itself had found a way inside it. His paws carried him deeper in the den and his tearing eyes tried to spot the she-cat’s figure in the den between the dense smoke and the hot flames. It took him a couple seconds to find her. Not saying a word, he grabbed her by the scruff and started to drag her towards the exit, ignoring the scorching heat and the smell of his own fur being burnt by any flame that reached it. He was getting dizzy by the smoke and his whole body felt like on fire, he wasn’t sure if he was going to make it until a sudden chilly sensation replaced the heat.
Rising his head, he looked around surprised as the bright reds and oranges were replaced by white, and the heat by cold. He resumed dragging Lilyheart outside from the nursery, trying to not think much about what was going on until they emerged from the darkened den. He started to cough, his lungs trying to get rid of all the smoke trapped in them and take a breath of fresh air “Are you…are you ok…Lilyheart?” He meowed with his hoarse voice, looking at her before looking around “Wha….what happened?”. ______________________________________ Stormkit Windclan Kit [10HP || 30SP] |

| At the sound of fire, Rabbitfoot was one of the first ones out. She had jumped to her feet faster than she ever thought she could, running out to see the damage and to make sure that everyone was okay. As soon as her eyes landed on the blaze in the distance, she stood in horror until suddenly a heavy fog set in, immediately dousing the fire until it was all but a memory. All the medicine cat could do was stare in amazement until the voices of others snapped her back. "I-Is everyone okay? If you've been hurt, please come to our den!" she meowed, stepping out of the entrance to the medicine den to make room for others.
It took a second for the news to hit Stoneteller. Fire? It was something he had heard of but never seen. Padding out of the warrior's den, he joined his tribe mates as his eyes landed on the blaze rapidly coming towards them. Instantly, his heart was heavy with an anxious fear. He started to frantically look around to account for his tribe until the heavy mist rolled in. Turning back to face the fire, he watched closely as it was snuffed out until all that was left was some ash and burned branches. However, nothing had touched the camp. Suddenly, all of his fear washed away. "Yes, it was a gift from the Tribe of Endless Stars. They are certainly still watching over us," he mewed. "It has made certain that we made the right decision coming here." Shaking out his pelt from the heavy dew that rested in his fur from the mist, the Healer turned to his tribe mates. "This has been a blessing on us all." |

| Rippedsky was stopped short by Addergaze. He tried not to give her a pitying look, knowing the she-cat would not take it well. Her grief was enough for that of several cats. And he wasn't oblivious to the anxiety in her step. At her words, his head snapped up to look around camp. A sigh broke from his maw once more as his eyes settled on Aspenkit. The tiny, injured tom sat near the medicine cats den where he normally was. He flicked his tail in the direction, "He's here. Don't worry." There was so much more he wanted to say in an attempt to comfort the prickly she-cat. However, the deputy worried no matter what he said that it would make things worse.
"Addergaze... we should go on a patrol once things are settled. Check on Aspenkit and then we will check the territory." He wanted to speak to her. Anything that came to the deputy's mind sounded like the wrong thing. Rippedsky nodded towards the kit before heading off to check out the rest of the clan. Thankfully they were all okay, but there was no doubt in his mind that some would be left shaken. |

| Firkit let out a warbled yelp as she was thrown out of the nursery by a warrior, landing hard on her tail. She got up quickly and turned to face the she-cat, tail low and her bright blue eyes looking confused and a bit hurt. The young kit danced around the entrance, peering into the darkness for her brother, humming his name. When he didn't come out, the white and tan she-cat began to panic, poking at the walls of the den. 'She'll only throw be back out if I go in!'
A slight chill came over the camp and the kitten looked up to see the flames dying down. Was that normal? She crept up to the base of one of the scarred trees, sniffing the grey-black substance. It smelled the same as what was in the air. It was itchy too, it made her give a tiny sneeze. ______________________________________ |

| Dandelionpaw watched the mist engulf the raging flames that had been approaching the camp, steam and smoke being let off. The wind blew smoke right into her face, making her sneeze. Even with the distraction, her mind was troubled, whirling around like a leaf in the wind. What just happened? Where did that mist come from? And more importantly, who set that fire....?
She approached her mentor with urgency. "Rippedsky... I don't know if this helps, but the cat who lit the forest... I think he was a gray tabby. I don't know who because I couldn't see him well enough... I'm sorry."
She dipped her head, hoping the little scrap of information would prove useful to her Clan. She realized then that at some point they would ask why she was outside the camp so far away. ______________________________________ Sapkit - ??? - ??? ThunderClan - ??? - ??? He/him - ??? - ???
