Dandelionkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowstar called out to his clan. "Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather here for a clan meeting!"

Rosepaw padded out of the apprentice den with a bright smile on her face. If she was right this is her friend`s ceremony. She can`t wait to do patrols with Dandelionpaw and show her around their territories.

Dandelionkit bounced with excitement. This was it. It was her moment to shine! Or at least, she assumed it was. Honestly, kits get excited over anything.

"Dandelionkit please come forward." The leader waited for the kit to step forward before speaking again. "From this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Dandelionpaw. Your mentor will be Rippedsky." THe leader jumped down ending the ceremony.

Dandelionkit practically leaped towards Crowstar and sat expectantly in front of him. As she heard her apprentice name called, her eyes sparkled. She went to touch noses with her new mentor.

Rippedsky smiled as his name was called. Gorsepaw was getting older and needed less attention than a new apprentice. It would be fun having both. He dipped his head to touch noses with the newly named Dandelionpaw, "I cannot wait to begin our training."

Rosepaw eyes brightened as her fathers named radiated through the camp. She rushed to her friend and father side. "Congratulations, Dandelionpaw! You got the greatest dad and deputy of Skyclan for a mentor! Lucky!" She smiled at her father then to Dandelionpaw.
