Taken cats! (Open as heck)

Owlpaw was bolting back towards camp. She could barely see anything in front of her through her tears and adrenaline but somehow she made it back to camp. Bursting though the entrance she yelled, "Umberflame and Cloverpaw was taken! They were taken by some type of mist. I don't know what happened..." She stopped to take a deep breath her fur was still fluffed up her eyes wild as she stared around at her clanmates. What could they do against it? Maybe they might not even believe her. They might think she killed them or something. But none of that mattered now as she stood panting waiting for someone to say something to help the situation.

Cloudstorm poked her head out of the nursery and looked at her apprentice. "Whats this about Umberflame, Cloverpaw, and some mist?" She meowed and tilted her head padding over. What had happened to the older warrior?

Sandblaze hissed and cane out if the warriors den. "What nonsense is your apprentice spouing Cloustorm? Do something about it!" He growled to his sister.

Stonestrike padded over and glared at Sandblaze. "Be still Sandblaze, un." The ginger tom meowed.

Lionspark had been enjoying the few rays of sunlight that wormed its into the ThunderClan camp through the branches that stretched above them and warmed her fur, her eyes closed as she soaked in what she could of it. But that peace was ruined when she heard the sound of rushed pawsteps as somebody forced their way into the camp, her eyes flickering open in surprise to see Owlpaw stumbling into the camp with her fur on edge and terror in her eyes. Within moments the warrior was on her paws, darting across the camp with perked ears. "What?" she questioned sharply, almost certain that she must have misheard the young apprentice. Umberflame and Cloverpaw taken by...Mist? She paused as a few of her Clanmates stepped from their dens to see what was going on, giving Sandblaze a sharp glare at his growl as she hurried the young apprentice's side. "Take a deep breath Owlpaw," she cooed softly as she allowed her motherly instincts to kick in, sitting next to the she-cat as she gave the apprentice a swift lick on the top of the head in an effort to help her calm down. She curled her tail around the terrified apprentice, pulling her in close as she lowered her head to meet Owlpaw's gaze. "What do you mean they were taken by mist? What happened?"

Owlpaw just stared at the warriors padded out, why are they bickering for? Their clanmates were just taken and there they are taking this like nothing happened. Lionspark came to her side and she followed her instruction taking a deep breath that did calm her a bit. But when she licked her head then pulled her in close she engulfed her scent taking another deep breath. "W-e we-re ou-t on a pat-rol whe-n thi-s...mis-t came ou-t of no-where and I could-nt see any-thing or he-ar no-thing then w-hen it clear-ed they we-re gone." She was shaking now trying to recal what happened. "Lio-nspark it fe-lt lik-e claws were rip-ping into my pe-lt.." She looked up to the warrior. "What hap-pened to them? You believe m-e right?"

Specklepaw plodded out of the apprentice's den as Owlpaw had started spewing nonsense about fog and her missing friends. Specklepaw's eyebrow rose as she looked at Owlpaw with a frown. "That's ridiculous! Mist taking cats? Mist can't do that! It isn't even physical like us, it's just kind of... there." Specklepaw hissed, though she had an issue trying to really describe mist. Every cat knew mist, the mist that made seeing nearly impossible and made this cooler because it hid the sun.

Though Specklepaw had never been around long enough to see that kind of mist or fog, so the absurdity of Owlpaw's statement made her doubt their sanity. Specklepaw snorted as Owlpaw described the mist to Lionspark, unbelievable! "Are you sure you saw this mist and just... passed out or something and Umberflame and Cloverpaw aren't just playing some cruel joke?" The large she-cat asked, coming up to stand beside Lionspark with a frown just about the same size but not quite as tall.

Cloudstorm frowned. "No Umberflame would never do that. Cloverpaw either." She meowed.

Sandblaze snorted. He was with Specklepaw on this one.

Stonestrike sighed and glared at his brother.

Lionspark felt her eyes narrowed as she rested her chin on top of Owlpaw's head, listening to the apprentice as she stumbled over her words as she described what had happened. Her ears fell flat, judging the claims that Owlpaw was saying. She paused however when the apprentice feebly questioned if she believed her, opening her mouth to give a response only to be cut off as her daughter came strolling into the scene. She spared a soft glare at her daughter, her tail lashing slightly as her eyes narrowed. "I believe you Owlpaw...At least I believe that you believe you are telling the truth," she sighed. This was...Strange. She could tell that Owlpaw was terrified - that the apprentice truly believed what she saw what happened but her daughter did have a point. Mist...Mist couldn't do things like this but that did raise another question that caused her to pause. "Where were you guys when this mist came rolling in?" she questioned as she glanced at the terrified she-cat.

Owlpaw glanced at the cats who didn't believe her, no of course they won't. They weren't there to see it after all. They thought she was going crazy or as Specklepaw put it passed out and saw the mist. Her tail lashed angrily her voice raising in anger, "No it really happened! Of course nobody would believe me.." At Lionspark comment she looked away, not even she believes her..but her ears perked up slightly at her suggestion she nodded, "Okay.." She got to her paws again still shaking slightly as she made it to the entrance to camp. It scared her to go back but if it meant proving to everyone she was not insane she wilkl do it.

Poppypaw had been hurriedly scarfing down a mouse in between her duties, enjoying the limited peace and quiet as she did so, thick fur ruffled as she enjoyed the limited sunlight of the day. She almost felt like dozing off as she ate- well that was until the sound frantic paw steps and yowling erupted in the clearing. Jolting awake, the calico apprentice swung around to stare at Owlpaw with muted concern and irritation. Quickly swallowing the final morsels of her rushed meal, the apprentice slowly got to her paws as she watched Lionspark comfort the obviously distressed Owlpaw, licking her lips as she watched the drama unfold.

"Mist?" She echoed dubiously, watching Owlpaw with a slightly scornful look- she didn't doubt Owlpaw's rushed explanation of Umberflame and Cloverpaw going missing, but seriously? Mist didn't just up and take cats! "They probably just got lost is all." She mewed loudly, eyeing the other apprentice as she padded up to Specklepaw's side, tail twitching irritably as she did so. What was so scary about plain old mist? 'It's probably just a joke to see if Owlpaw was a crykit or not.' Poppypaw reflected, whiskers twitching as she continued to watch, 'Well obviously they were right!'

"No! I tried to smell them cause I did thought they got lost or something! But they're scents were in one place after the mist cleared up. I could smell they're fear scents and I can tell you they were scared they did not move at all!" Now she was growing defensive. Why didn't anyone believe her? She marched towards the entrance maybe she can show them where they were and prove that they didn't move anywhere.

Cloudstorm sighed. "Owlpaw wait. I believe you." She meowed and ignored the holes burning into her pelt from Sandblaze. She padded after Owlpaw.

Sandblaze glared and followed after the two.

Stonestrike followed them.

Lionspark jumped to her paws as Owlpaw pulled away from her, giving a shake of her head as she opened her mouth to speak but grew silenced as Poppypaw came strolling out, giving a small glance at the apprentice. "No leaving camp!" she almost snapped as she looked at Owlpaw, her ears falling flat. "I simply want to know where you encounter this mist because...It...It doesn't make any sense. There shouldn't be any mist with how the weather is - even if you guys were on the RiverClan border. But if you are telling is the truth and as fox-brained as it seems that mist really did take them..." There was a worried flicker in her eyes as she spared a glance at the gathered cats as she put her paw down. "We shouldn't leave camp. We should inform Blizzardshine and Darkstar of this and...We will wait. I doubt that Umberflame and Cloverpaw got lost - they aren't mouse-brained enough to do that and should know the territory like I know my stripes. We give them a day to return to camp and if they don't..." Her ear twitched. "Well then I suppose we have a problem..."

Emberclaw came out of the warrior den too see that was happening out side. When she came out she saw Owlpaw all worried, so she quickly walked over, "May i ask, What happened out there?" She said looking at the other cats who where around Owlpaw.

OOC: hey mika! just as a reminder, each character starts out as a kit on WCC. Over time, the kit will grow up and have ceremonies to reach warrior status
