Stonepaw's, and Cloudpaw's Warrior Ceremonies

Blizzardshine smiled as she hoped onto the Highrock, ready to give their warrior names to two apprentices...and having a slight sensation of deja vu as she did “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Stonepaw and Cloudpaw padded iver and sat down.

Sandblaze oadded iver and shot a look at Cloudpaw and then sat away from his teo siblings.

Blizzardshine waited until enough cats were gathered before speaking again “Stonepaw, Cloudpaw, please, step forward”

Stonepaw and Cloudpaw stepped forward.

Blizzardshine took a deep breath “I, Blizzardshine, deputy of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They had trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn” As soon as she was done speaking she looked at the two cats with a warm smile “Stonepaw, Cloudpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your lives?”.

"I do." Stonepaw meowed.

I do." Cloudpaw meowed as well.

Blizzardshine nodded approvingly, smile widening before speaking once more “Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names” She first looked at Stonepaw “Stonepaw, from this moment you will be known as Stonestrike. StarClan honors your bravery and perseverance, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan” After that she turned to look at Cloudpaw “Cloudpaw, from this moment you will be known as Cloudstorm. StarClan honors your loyalty and kindness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan” With that, she leaped off the Highrock and rested her muzzle on the newly named warriors’ heads to conclude the ceremony.

Stonestrike and Cloudstorm smiled and each gave Blizzardshine a lick on the shoulder silently thanking her.
