Oakkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Blizzardshine leaped onto the Highrock, ready for another ceremony “All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the Highrock for a clan meeting!”.

Oakkit bundled forward, nearly tripping over his own paws in excitement. He pulled up to a halt just in time to save himself from disaster, and he sat down, excited jitters coursing under his fur.

Once enough cats were gathered beneath the Highrock, the white deputy finally decided to go on “Oakkit, please, step forward”.

Oakkit rose to his paws, taking a few steps forward to stand before the deputy. He was excited, so wildly excited, but nervousness bit at him like fleas. Would he mess up? He prayed to StarClan he wouldn't--he couldn't face himself if he did!

Blizzardshine chuckled softly, giving enough time to the brothers to exchange some quick words before talking again “Oakkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Oakpaw” She took a quick glance at the warriors gathered before picking one for the new apprentice “Your mentor will be Sandblaze. I hope he passes down all he knows on to you” With that she jumped off the Highrock, dismissing the clan.
