Still One Task Left [Stillpaw’s Assessment]

Blizzardshine was waiting near the Owl tree, she made sure they came here near to sunhigh to lower their chances to find the big bird that lived in this place, but she had picked it because it would still be challenging enough for the apprentice to prove if she was ready to receive her warrior name or if she still needed some training.

She looked at the sky, it was about time for Stillpaw to arrive unless she had forgotten what she had told to her before she went on a lone patrol earlier that morning. She just hoped it didn’t took her too long or they would need to delay the assessment due to safety reasons. The territory could be fairly dangerous at night and she wouldn’t dare to leave an apprentice alone out of camp once the day was near to an end.

Stillpaw moved at a steady pace but one fast enough that she got to where she was supposed to. Over her time as an apprentice she had learned how to work with her useless forepaw. As she came to the Owl Tree she looked at Blizzardshine,Thunderclan's deputy.

Blizzardshine smiled at Stillpaw, giving her a respectful nod as a way of greeting before speaking “As you know, your training finally came to an end, and I don’t think there is nothing left for us to teach you. As a result of this, I think it’s time for you to get your own assessment and prove me right or wrong to decide if you’re ready for your warrior name” She spoke rather slowly and as clearly as possible so the apprentice could understand the importance of their meeting on that specific day.

“You will need to catch three pieces of prey, more specifically a squirrel, a bird and a rabbit. I’ll be watching you but won’t be able to help you, you have until dawn to complete this task” After those words she turned around and disappeared between the undergrowth of the forest, leaving her apprentice alone to carry on with her assessment.
