Laurelpaw grumbled restlessly in her sleep, her small white paws flicking, and ears twitching like she was running after a juicy piece of prey. Her father's quiet voice managed to cut through into her realm of dreams, and the young she-cat opened her yellowish-green eyes to look up at the pale tabby warrior. Yawning, the apprentice nodded before rising to her paws and following Silentstrike out into the dim morning sunlight. Stretching out each leg one by one, the small she-cat purred; "Good morning! What are we going to do today?"

Smiling, he continued with Laurelpaw.''Whatever you'd like to. Hunting or battle training?" He looked to the smaller cat.

"Hmm..." Stopping for a moment, Laurelpaw contemplated her options, mind racing trying to decide which one she wanted to try more. After a few seconds, the ticked she-cat bounced on her paws and meowed excitedly; "Battle training!" Trotting off a short distance towards the camp entrance, she waved her sleek tail happily, and purred. How awesome is this! I'm finally gonna get to go outside, and train! I'll be a warrior in no time!

Smiling, he continued."Alright then, follow me." He began padding away from Laurelpaw, hoping she would follow.

An enthusiastic smile spread out upon her excited face, Laurelpaw followed her father out of the camp with a bounce in her step. Walking out after him onto the wide open moorland, the young she-cat's eyes widened in amazement, her jaws gaping in awe at the beautiful landscape. Stopping for a moment, she looked around at the tall grass waving the the wind, and gently rolling hills and couldn't hold back an awe-inspired remark. "Wow! This is amazing Silentstrike! Is this all WindClan territory?" Turning, she met the tom's gaze and purred, waggling her tail a bit mischievously; "Can I explore?"
