The Telling [PLOT]

Fox that hunts in the Night nodded quietly, understanding the words of his leader. The prey-hunter was ready to go with the bless of their ancestors to his new home. The home of his ancestors: Skyclan. The time of the tribe on the mountains had finally came to an end and the tom was sure that it was the moment to move on.

Ash of the Burning Forest stared up at the tribe's leader, shocked. Had he really received a message from the Tribe of Endless Stars? He thought long and hard about the wording, and finally realised that they would be leaving. His fur pricked, but he understood that the word of their ancestors was true, and bowed his head.

The collective gasps filled the space and rang in the Healer's ears. As Storm cried out about moving and leaving everything behind, Stoneteller cringed slightly but quickly composed himself. "Yes, I know that this will be difficult. But they have sent me this prophecy so that we can thrive again," He meowed, trying to persuade his tribe. "I know none of you want to leave this cave that we call our home, but if we stay, surely all of us will die. We aren't leaving to forget those who have given their lives to keep this tribe alive, we are leaving to make sure that their efforts weren't in vain." He paused once more, trying to convince himself of his own words. Leaving would be very difficult, but it must be done. "I do not believe this will be a permanent change. Only time will tell. For now, we are leaving tomorrow night as soon as the brightest star shows itself. Get some rest, everyone. We have a long journey ahead of us."

Storm was surprise that nobody dared to speak out against Stoneteller, had they all truly given up hope of remaining? The only other cat to speak other then himself was Night, making clear his loyalty to Stoneteller and belief that this was the right choice. Storm couldn't be sure but he had promised himself to be loyal to Stoneteller and he wasn't going to betray that trust. His gaze swung to stare at the much older tom as Stoneteller's voice echoed across the clearing. He didn't open his mouth to speak against him, instead he turned to stare at all of his tribemates as his leader finished. "You have all heard him!" he called out, his tail lashing in the air. "Tomorrow we leave, following the brightest star to wherever it may take us! We keep our faith strong in both Stoneteller and the Tribe of Endless Stars. If you have any problems with this option, take it up with me," he added with the faintest snarl to his words before letting his sharp gaze flicker back up at their aging leader. "I may not like the idea of leaving but I will follow you Stoneteller to where the sky meets the earth and back if we must...After all, we are not a tribe if we cannot trust one another." With that, he spun and moved back to where he had been curled up before the meeting was called. He laid down as he glanced at his still gathered Clanmates and while Stoneteller had spoken of getting rest...Storm had a feeling he wouldn't get any. No, he had to keep his eyes open. He had to keep his tribemates safe. They had to make it to their new home.
