Miss Sadie's Home for Wayward Youth RP

OOC: alright, um new TSwift or old? And I was thinking something a little more hardcore like Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard or something

IC: Miss Sadie walked him into the dining hall and got him a bowl of oatmeal, "You will be in room B1, third floor on the right. Your roommate's name is Archer, he's fifteen." she explained.

Adam laughed as he reached the door, panting heavily, he began to laugh as he sat down the heavy tote, "You're right, I should've seen that coming," he laughed and then dumped the clothes on to the floor.

OOC: I was just giving suggestions. I have like no idea, so you can decide.

IC: "Thank you!" Kevin thanked Miss Sadie, the ate his Oatmeal hungrily. He took his time though. The slower he ate, the more energy he would be given from the carbs and glucose that gave him energy. He was aware that he shouldn't be thinking like this about eating, but a genius should constantly exercise their mind. After finishing, he nodded gratefully to Miss Sadie and put his plate in the bin.

Natalie grinned and dumped the contents of her bag onto the floor as well. She was a tiny bit worried that Adam would want to have a relationship with her or something. She remembered the first time a boy had asked her out a year ago, and still did not regret punching him. She might regret punching Adam though, so she didn't want it to come to that.
"Were here to do the laundry, so let's do that," Natalie said briskly, trying to get the weird feeling out of her.

OOC: How about we do two songs, so its fair? You pick one you like and I'll do one I like and we'll just battle it out?

IC:"Do you need any help getting to your room, Kevin?" Miss Sadie asked, lifting the heavy bin of dishes and starting out of the room.

Adam laughed, "Okay Miss Killjoy," he smirked and began to sort the laundry.

OOC: Oh! And I don't know if you saw, but I changed Adam's age to 16 so if there ended up being a relationship it would make more sense and not so creepy with him being 18

OOC: Yeah, I saw you changed his age. Thank you! And I'll think about which song to choose.

IC: "No thank you. I'm fine," Kevin replied politely. He had already basically mapped this place out from similar architectural designs that he had seen, and he could easily find his room from what Miss Sadie had told him. As he started walking up the stairs and to his room, he knew that dealing with the other people would be harder. He was probably the youngest one there, and the other people probably took out all their anger on the people around them. He knew these kind of homes could get heated.

"More like Miss reality," Natalie retorted quickly, but not angrily. She still didn't want to let him get too close to her, that would make it easier for him to turn on her. She started sorting the laundry with him, and soon they were nearly ready to put it in the washing machine.

OOC: Okay cool.

IC: "Alright then, dear," Miss Sadie took the bin of dishes into the kitchen so Ari and Anne-Marie could do them.

Adam laughed but stayed silent, was that a smile I saw? he thought, but remained silent. "I believe the measurements are on the sign there," he said pointing to a piece of wood on the wall.

Kevin walked into his new room, ready to have the conversation he had rehearsed. His roommate was a boy named Archer, he had been told. If he just remembered what to do, and didn't act to robotic, he would be fine. Maybe, if he became friends with Archer, he could even share with him the fact that he was a genius. 

Natalie began to place a pile laundry in the machine while reading the sign. She picked up the laundry detergent and immediately handed it to Adam, without even pausing.
"You do this. Measurements are not my best subject," Natalie explained, then watched to see what Adam's reaction would be. If he teased her, he could not be trusted. If he didn't, she would have to see.

"I was wondering when you would give me a chance to do something," he smiled and poured the correct amount into the cup and then into the machine. He turned the dial to the appropriate setting and turned it on.

Archer stood in the downstairs hallway waiting for James to get ready.

James followed Archer so they could clean the house again.

Jessie smiled and followed Jamie to feed the animals.

The first thing Kevin realized when he walked in was that he was alone. He sighed with relief, glad to have more time to prepare for meeting the boy who would be his roommate for a while. He yelled at himself internally for not being ready for a few seconds, but after reminded himself that he was ready (And punching the bed a few times), he calmed down. He placed his two bags down on the bed and set to work on unpacking.

Natalie couldn't help but smile. It turned out Adam wasn't entirely horrible. It would be good to have at least one ally here. As soon as Adam finished turning on the washing machine, she turned to face him.
"Do we just do other stuff until it's ready to be dried now? Or do we have to look at a washing machine for an hour?" Natalie asked. She didn't realize how funny it was until after she said it, and bit her lip to stop from laughing to hard.

Adam laughed and then turned toward the rec room across the hall, "Since that's not an enjoyable task, why don't we go play some pool or something while we wait?" he suggested, his sly smirk across his face.

Archer looked at James, "Since we pretty much cleaned the house last night, how about we just clean the kitchen up and wipe down the dining hall and then go help the girls?" he suggested.

Jamie walked outside in direction of the barn, the sun was just popping over the horizon. She took a deep breath of morning air; it felt great in her lungs. "You want to take care of the barn animals first?" she asked, not really looking at her.

"Yeah sure." Jessie said and followed after her friend.

James nodded.

"That sounds like the preferable idea." Natalie started on her way towards the rec room, hardly bothering to wait for Adam.

Jamie walked into the barn and looked around, she had an idea, "To make the time go faster, how about we divide the work?" she looked at the horses and then over at the dairy cow Bella, "do you want to feed the horses while I milk and feed Bella?" she proposed.

Archer walked into the kitchen and began to wash the dishes.

Adam smiled and followed her, "So do you know how to play?" he asked grabbing two pool cues.

"No. I never have had a need to learn it before," Natalie answered, looking at the table and ques.

"Well then this ought to be a treat, would you like to make this interesting?" he asked racking up the balls.
