Halfdawn also was trying to hold in a huge surge of excitement, and she let the deputy rest her muzzle on top of her head. After the moment was over. She raced over to Blacktwig, skidding to a halt in front of her former mentor with a wide smile.
"I'm actually a warrior now!" She said, her tone bright.

Morningshine nuzzled her niece affectionately.
"I'm proud of you, Halfpa-" She paused, Halfdawn...sorry."

"Yes, yes!" Blacktwig tweeted, rubbing his cheek up against Halfdawn's. Her amber eyes were on fire with pride, and the glow was very attractive. It reminded him that she could finally have a mate now - and he would be the kits'... great uncle? He decided not to think about family connections. The bristles of the two cats' fur detached, and he pulled away with a big smile. "I can't believe it... you're so amazing! I'm so proud of you!" Blacktwig exclaimed.
