Littlebrook layed in the nursery, curled protectively around 4 little bundles, having just finished kitting. She purred softly as she looked at them, but it faltered for just a moment as she thought about Lightningstrike, for the millionth time since he was exiled. It hadn't been very long after that day that she had found out she was pregnant with his kits, but it was a bittersweet moment. Just as this was. She couldn't help but wish that he was here to see them and watch them grow. How was Thrushstar going to deny them a father. A great one at that. She found herself, while lying in the nursery, thinking about how much he must have gone off the rails to not see a loyal and dedicated warrior when he saw one. It made white-hot rage race through her, but she pushed it down day after day. Once again she pushed away the grief and anger and focused on her new kits and naming them. She looked to the first born, a black and white tom. "Silentkit.." She meowed softly before moving on to the second born, an orange tabby she. "Blazekit.." She continued, blue eyes moving to the third, a white and cream colored she, and then fourth born, a black she with a ginger stripe down her face. "Hazelkit.. and Amberkit.." She purred, happy with her choices. They fit them well.

Silentkit squeaked quietly as he crawled over his sisters to get to the warmth of his mother and began to suckle.

Amberkit gave a mewl of slight protest as Hazelkit had crawled over her but was overall content much like Hazelkit.

Blazekit wiggled over to her mother, and began to suckle.
