A Fly in the Nursery (OPEN)

She smiled softly at Icekit with a flicker of her tail. "It is a very cool word," she agreed before giggling at how excited Flykit was while Goldenkit mused over who their mentors would be. Lionpaw could only shrug at that as she focused her attention on the tom. "Its hard to say - but I am sure Darkstar would give you all a mentor that she thought would be a good pair with you." Of course, as she said that she had to wonder why Darkstar had given her Bramblefrost as her mentor. He was just a...Stuck up tom, acting like he was above everybody else just because his mother was the leader. She hated it - it wasn't like he knew what fun was and was so controlling.

Icekit backed up. "Flypaw. Makes it sound like you can run on air."

Flykit thought about the Warriors in her clan, and who her mentor would be, then hearing Icekit, she thought about running on air instead. "That..Would actually be pretty cool!" the kit said, leaping into the air and almost hitting her face on the ground again.

Lionpaw chuckled at the idea of Flykit being able to walk on air - the air was no place for a ThunderClan cat. The closest a cat would ever come to flying would be SkyClan cats...She frowned slightly, almost wincing from her healing wounds at the reminder of that SkyClan apprentice she had fought with. How could those tree-hoping cats think that they were better then ThunderClan? She blinked, snapped out of her thoughts when Goldenkit spoke up. She shrugged softly, trying to think of what to say about Bramblefrost. "He is...A good warrior," she said, trying to think of positive things to say about him but found the list rather short. "He can be strict and bossy but I guess he is my mentor so he does knows what he is doing." She almost wanted to scoff at that - she didn't like Bramblefrost all that much. She would put up with him as a mentor but they clashed.

Flykit stood and looked around, wondering what kind of a mentor she would want.

Emberheart ducked her head into the nursery, settling herself beside Lionpaw, her russet striped tail wrapped around her paws neatly. Her pale eyes were alight with curiosity and interest, and she swiped her tongue over her muzzle.
"I'm on kit duty, today." the warrior mewed good-naturedly, ears flicking forward. "Looks like Lionpaw is taking care of it though—Pinewhisker just wants to get rid of me." She scoffed with fake anger.
"So."
Ember tilted her down towards the kits. "What're you doing?"

Icekit looked at the...warrior, they called her. "Discussing what our warrior names would be." She said, matter-of-factly.
