| Attacking SkyClan? Supporting ThunderClan? A Clan's history didn't describe its leader. Fishstar's reasoning was less and less sound as she rambled on, groping vainly for justification of the wrongs she had done. Sadly, the faces if Fishstar's Clanmates around her showed no remorse for destroying WindClan. For all her talk of SkyClan's earlier demise, Fishstar was doing near the same thing. The hypocritical RiverClan leader was still not satisfied- she bad to rub the wounded face of WindClan into the dirt even further.
Ashstar winced at the sight of her son, all bloodied and beat up. To be honest, though, she probably didn't look that much better. What did the RiverClan leader want with him? Couldn't she just be satisfied and leave her battered, beaten Clan alone? The looks of smug satisfaction on the RiverClanners' faces sickened the gray she-cat, as did the condescending sekf-imported tone of superiority showed by the leader and deputy of RiverClan, who were no better than the poor cats in her Clan that they claimed to despise. The jeering of one of the foolish, blinded RiverClan cats in the crowd alerted Ashstar to a possibility of what Fishstar might deem a "suitable punishment."
Spring-green eyes widening, Ashstar let out a horrified gasp of fear. "You wouldn't...." she protested weakly, ashen-faced. ______________________________________ ⸙ Larchpaw ⸙ ~ ☆ Perchstar ☆ ~ ♡ Hedgepaw ♡ ~ ◈ Dovetail ◈ ~ ○ Bubblebeam ○ ⸙ WindClan ⸙ ~ ☆ RiverClan ☆ ~ ♡ ShadowClan ♡ ~ ◈ RiverClan ◈ ~ ○ SkyClan ○ ⸙ Apprentice ⸙ ~ ☆ Tier 5 Leader ☆ ~ ♡ Apprentice ♡ ~ ◈ Tier 3 Warrior ◈ ~ ○ Tier 3 Warrior ○

| "It is only fair that Smokepelt knows the pain that my son felt. He went out of his way to cross the border and mutilate Frogpaw for no reason, so he must pay.. An eye for an eye, or in this case, a jaw." Fishstar's eyes were cold and remorseless as she turned away from Ashstar to face Smokepelt, completely disregarding any sharp words directed at her. WindClan would wail and hiss all their wanted, but they were recieving their due. Her disdain flared hotter as she gazed at WindClan deputy. "You knew it was wrong - what you did. You knew it was kit-brained, and cruel, and that you were breaking the warrior code, and yet, you still did it, and faced no consequences. Today, that is going to change."
Fishstar suddenly reared up on her hind legs and brought both of her front paws down on Smokepelt's face, effectively slamming it down onto the hard ground beneath him, and earning her the sound of a sickening crunch. The deed was done. Smokepelt would now feel the same pain as Frogpaw, in accordance with his disgraceful actions. Not a single trace of regret crossed the RiverClan leader's eyes as she whirled around and began stalking away from the scene.
"RiverClan," she called hoarsely, "We're going home. Out work is done here."
And with that, RiverClan began milling out of WindClan's camp, leaving them to tend to themselves, and to mull over their sins.
OOC: TOPIC DONE. No more posting here. Save your qualms for the Gathering, because I don't want any paradoxing going on. ______________________________________ |
