Scratches and wound covered the usaul shining silver pelt of Hazepaw as she rested in a nest within medicine cat den.The silver She-cat had got into a border skirmish and it had nearly ended in her death.She'd love to of thought that she fought loyally,she did, but somewhere she had totally lost it nearly killing another cat.Hazepaw would of happily died for her clan but that was not her time.Hazepaw wished she could leave,she'd tried but every move caused her more pain.

The She-cat hadn't seen anywhere in so long and she longed to head out of camp.Sometimes Hazepaw would lay there thinking about life,it was the only real time she got,but more often that not she slept.She'd been told it'd help but when she woke up Hazepaw was always reminded that she was stuck in the medicine cat den.No one visited her,well they might when she slept but she longed to see the face of a cat she knew.

Darkpaw padded into the medicine den after arriving at camp with her chest bleeding and her left ear cut. She wasn't badly injured, but Hazepaw had serious injury. Her eyes darted to Hazepaw, then quickly glanced away. Hazepaw will have forever scars...

Honeypaw rummaged around in her den to find the right herbs. Why did the apprentice have get into to a fight this close to leaf-bare? Goldenrod, marigold, oak leaf... The golden dappled she-cat pushed a pile of herbs towards Hazepaw, putting on a smile. Nearly out of goldenrod. "Eat up, Hazepaw."

Shadepaw's nose twitched as he scented the rustic tang of freshly spilled blood, and he quickly deposited his freshly-caught prey on the Fresh-Kill pile before trotting over to the Medicine Cat's den; curiosity filling him. Shadepaw eyed Darkpaw in surprise, the fresh wounds on her chest creeping through her fur like red worms- something must of happened while she was on patrol. Sitting down beside his den-mate, Shadepaw watched Hazepaw's shredded flank worriedly- having such injuries while heading into Leaf-Bare would mean a rough recovery. "What happened Darkpaw?" He asked quietly, watching Honeypaw work.

Hazepaw's eyes brightened when Darkpaw entered it was so good to see her.As Honeypaw had said she ate the herbs, though pain seared through her body as she moved to get them.The silver She-cat groaned and closed her eyes.She looked at Shadepaw and tried to smile but it was painful to even do that.

"There was a border skirmish with Windclan..." Darkpaw said as she coughed up some blood. "My chest was clawed and I guess that's the most serious injury for me, although my left ear is cut" She could feel her brain dizzy and the images in front of her fuzzy. "Oh no...." The black apprentice passed out.

Flamekit came rushing into the medicine cats den and yowling for Hazepaw. He hadn't seen her in a while and the little tom got bored a lot being stuck in the camp, especially since he was so old for a kit. The kit skidded to a halt at the older she-cat's side.
"Hazepaw! What did you do!?" The young tom was a strange mix of boisterous and quiet. Now what not was of the quiet times. Without pausing to acknowledge the other cats, he began running his small tongue over Hazepaw's flank rapidly.

Hazepaw looked up as the yowls of Flamekit filled the den.She purred softly even if it hurt,it was amazing to see him."Something...bad"she croaked.The silver apprentice sighed before hearing the thud of a body.It looked like she wasn't the only one who needed medical attention.

Darkpaw woke from her unconscious sometime later. The den was getting darker, so she knew she must of dozed of for quite a time. The fuzzy images of 2 cats talking to each other appeared in front of her. "Honeypaw?" She whispered. "I'm dizzy"
