The Return [FOR ALL OF RIVERCLAN]

"Oh, yeah!" the small brown tabby mewed, excitedly. "Please, Morningfog, can we go with Otterpaw?"
Squirrelkit's eyes were wide, feigning innocence, but beyond that, deeper, there were demands and pure confidence.
Yes! This way I can finally explore. I can trust Silentpaw to distract him. She nearly snorted aloud, then paused, frozen.
"Please?" the pale brown she-kit asked mewed hopefully, again. "I'll look after Silentkit and Amberkit and Shatteredkit," she added earnestly, her tail waving slightly, up high. 
But her eyes, just starting to lose their blue color, glinted with mischief.

Fracturedpaw didn't know what to do with himself, he merely followed the rest of his clan mates into the camp. Then he spotted Fallowpaw, there, someone he knew. He bounded over to her and grazed her sleek fur with his flank. "Can you believe it?" He asked, glancing between her and the rotted camp. This is where they were born, then days later swept out of here as mere kits. Now though, they were back, and ready to make things better than before.

The older apprentice watched as the older warriors and leader padded by. He would have to figure out how to help, but the memories form his kit-hood on how the camp looked wouldn't return. He couldn't remember how everything had looked before the flood mangled the camp. So, he'd have to reply on a warrior, just like every other apprentice. He huffed, not exactly fond of the idea, but what else would he do.

Shatteredkit scooted past his father and tried to catch up with his siblings, one of which was silentkit. He slowed down beside her, and began to speak. "What are we supposed to do?" He whispered, not wanting to sound like he was clueless, even though, he really was at the moment.

"Well... Okay. But, you stick close to Otterpaw." she mewed, giving them all a stern look. "Otterpaw, you have my permission to box their ears if they move a step out of place. I can't have any of them running off."

"Yes!" Squirrelkit cheered, rubbing by her mother's leg happily, and moving towards the patched apprentice.
"I'll be good!" she added convincingly, her small tabby ears pricked as she bounced past Fallowpaw and Fracturedpaw, over to Otterpaw.

Blackkit was looked around for someone to talk to her soft brown eyes looked at all the cats around her.

Amberkit totally didn't squeak in surprise when Shellpaw gently poked her to get her attention, her fur fluffing up in embarrassment as he offered the idea of finding shells. She blinked, running that idea in her head but before she could decide if she really wanted to do it or not, Smokeface shot down that idea. She pouted in annoyance, her tail lashing as she listened to the older tom before he hurried off toward the other warriors. Why couldn't they go shell hunting? They weren't going to be any help rebuilding this place anyways, they might as well do something fun!

She followed after the other kits as they were shoved toward Morningfog but didn't listen to the queen's words as she cooed softly to her kits an excuse of why her mate had refused to let them go shell hunting. But when Otterpaw strolled up, her ears perked as he offered another idea for what to let them do - and her eyes lit up when Morningfog agreed to it. Gathering up moss didn't sound all that exciting but it was a thing to do at least! She wasted no time in bounding after Squrrielkit with a large smile on her face, happy to be of some help.

Blackkit turned her eyes over to Amberkit, she watched her with intreast

Sootwhisper was one of the last to arrive, thanks to his habit of walking a couple of tail-lengths behind large groups of cats…and in his eyes three cats were already a large group of cats.

His eyes landed on the destroyed camp, memories of how it used to be flooding his mind. He could hear the complaints of the rest of the cats, from kits to warriors, about how the camp was destroyed and even some kits complaining and wanting to be back to Sunningrocks. He couldn’t blame them, that place looked far more comfortable than the soaked mess in front of them. Then again, they had no idea of how terrible it would be to be there during Leafbare. It wouldn’t only be colder, but the proximity to ThunderClan could make them extremely vulnerable to attacks or stealing if said clan decided that their own fresh-kill pile was too low for their liking.

Flicking his ear and sighing deeply, he walked past the group of cats without saying a word. The odd eyed cat considered all this chit-chat to be a waste of time, just like always, and decided that it was time to start doing something about the camp instead of just complain about it.

With his usual serious expression, he started to use his paws and body weight in an attempt to push away the bigger rotten branches to make some space and be able to rebuild the camp, while being careful of where he placed his paws to not step on something sharp or dangerous and injure himself on the process. He decided to leave the gathering of rotting sticks and leaves to the apprentices for now, as he wasn’t sure if they had the required strength to move the bigger branches yet.

Agh, it was always the warriors ruining his fun... What was the worst that could happen? Another flood washing them away? The whole Clan was right nearby. Sleetpaw flicked his ears in annoyance as Otterpaw took over his little charges, but shrugged it off with a good-natured mrrow of amusement. "Otterpaw the queen," he mewed. Kits were a bit of a soft spot of his, but he'd be glad to have them out of his fur. "I leave the moss and shells to you."

Now the real work started. Sleetpaw was about to dip off toward the nearest den when he felt someone else brush up past him, and then dart off toward the willow tree that hung over the middle of camp. Thistles and thorns, Sunpaw...! "Hey! You got a head start!" He bounded after him, sending up sprays of mud as he ran.

Two young cats side by side looking at such destruction. Ashpaw was very aware of this when the flood had occurred, distraught seeing this sight for sore eyes ... our home, she bitterly thought.

Ripplepaw strayed from the group slightly to nudge away a few broken off pieces of driftwood, just to ensure no cat or kit tripped over them. This tom tried his best to be optimistic about it while Ashpaw, on the contrary, was dreary as her pelt coloration.

"Well .. at least its standing, so that's a blessing."

He muttered out loud. Tossing another piece of driftwood atop another, a small pile being made of this light-weight wood. While the happy-go-lucky tom was collecting wood and piling it somewhere, Ashpaw sat and observed the cats straying off into smaller groups to do something proactive. But what could she do, wondering, she walked and thought hoping to come across something the she-cat could assist with rather than idling by doing nothing.
