Swanpaw had been thinking all about Softpaw, ever since her diluted tortoiseshell sister had died. She didn't deserve it, she could've been a great warrior. The pure white apprentice lowered her head as she trudged through the territory, her tail dragging along beside her. Swanpaw had lost her energetic spark, like she had used to have, but she had tried to pretend to have it around her kin. It was hard, though. All she wanted to do was see her sister again, at least one more time. All she really wished for was-.
A dog.
No, she didn't wish for a dog. There was a dog! Swanpaw hissed furiously, racing forwards. She would fight this dog on her own, she didn't need any help! But, the dog was too big for her to fend off alone. It swung a massive brown paw towards her, knocking her towards a nearby tree. The first thing to come in contact with the bark of the tree was her head. Swanpaw's vision turned blurry as she collapsed to the ground, and then she felt pain as the dog came over and began to maul her mercilessly. Through all of the pain she felt, she knew she was going to die. That was bad for her...
Or was it really that horrible?
"Goodbye... She murmured, "Goodbye ThunderClan."
More pain flew through her as the dog's teeth sank viciously into her neck.
"And hello Softpaw." Swanpaw weakly managed to say, before her entire figure went limp.
