Where oh where has Redafeather gone

Hickorypad woke up the next morning, it was still storming and thunder rumbled in the sky. The tom padded out of the den and to the camp entrance for his early morning exercise routine. He did this every morning since he was an apprentice. The tom caught his brothers faint scent and followed it until he reached where his brother fell and then the tom fell down himself. His leg hit a rock and it broke he yowled so loud it caught the attention of a near by twoleg and it came running. It saw Hickorypad and slid down the slope and took off one of it's pelts and wrapped up a howling Hickorypad inside it and checked Redfeather. Seeing he was dead the twoleg left with the tom and never looked back. Hickorypad was gone.

Hazepaw heard the tom's yowls and bolted out of the den and straight to where he fell.The apprentice nearly tumbled over the edge as she saw what lay before her Redfeather was dead, and a twoleg was cradling a yowling Hickorypad in one of its pelts.Hazepaw let out a hiss, her icey blue eyes staring at the two leg with pure hatred.The twoleg was far bigger than her she didn't know what to do."Hickorypad!" She yowled desperately.Although the fiercely independent she-cat knew she had to do something,she also knew she couldn't do it alone.Hopefully someone else heard the yowls.
