Briarpaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!" hollered Fishstar as she leaped up to her perch.

Briarpaw padded over and sat down his mother was behind him.

OOC: sorry I didn't see this!

"Briarpaw, please step forward," Fishstar said.

Briarpaw stepped forward.

"I, Fishstar," the she-cat began, "leader of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in turn. Briarpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Briarpaw smiled. "I do!" He meowed proudly.

Honeyblossom beamed as her son was becoming a warrior.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Briarpaw, from this day forth you shall be known as Briarfoot. RiverClan honours your courage and skill." Fishstar began the chanting of the warrior's new name.
