Lightningstrike scanned camp for his apprentice, he had heard of the things his apprentice had said and done during the gathering but, he had to train him still. If he stepped out of line, he'd know what to bring up. This patrol wouldn't be stopped just because he had an apprentice that was very... susceptible. He wasn't letting that get in the way of what was honestly more important.
