The Midnight Sun [Closed for Grizzly]

Nightheart padded towards the apprentice’s den, looking for her apprentice. It was time to evaluate what her strong and weak points were to have a starting point for their training together, and what better way to do it than taking her out on a patrol? “Sunpaw? Are you in here?”

Sunpaw rolled over sleepily, her little paws gripping the moss of her den. "Yeah, yeah, five more... minutes," she yawned, her eyes fluttering. She had no intention of getting up until sunhigh. She started dozing off again, a goofy smile plastered on her face.

Nightheart sighed with a smile and padded towards the new apprentice, she had seen some apprentices having issues to get used to their new schedule before, even while she was an apprentice as well, as they were used to do anything they wanted while they still were kits. That included sleeping for as long as they wanted.

She pushed her gently with her nose, trying to force the younger cat to get up “You aren’t a kit anymore, Sunpaw, its time to start your training” The dark warrior was already thinking on other strategies to make her wake up if her initial plan didn’t work. Her pranks had earned her a nice amount of fame around the clan, and even if she got a bit rusty during the Dark Forest reign, given that she didn’t felt up to doing many pranks on that awful period of her life, she was sure she could come up with a way to convince her to get up.

Sunpaw glared at Nightheart. "Well, fine, but I ain't happy about it!" Her stubby tail wiggled as she crawled out into the sunlight. "My first patrol just had to be this early, didn't it?" Her blue eyes were still droopy from sleep. Her bones cracked in a pleasant way as she shook out her fur.

Nightheart chuckled, brushing off the apprentice’s rude behavior. She just needed time, get used to her new routine like any of them at that age “From now you will need to get up around this time of the day to join patrols and receive warrior training, Sunpaw, just like any other apprentice’s” She pointed with her tail at the other apprentices and mentors, some of which were already leaving camp, several were clearly missing, probably gone far before them. Her ice blue eyes landed on the still drowsy apprentice, not wanting to rush her on her very first day as an apprentice, but she wasn’t willing to go too easy on her just because of that neither “I’ll evaluate your current skills today during our patrol, so I expect you to be alert at all times” She wasn’t expecting something great, but it was still a good idea to warn the younger apprentice to not give her unpleasant surprises later.
