What are the duties of a medicine cat: According to the warrior code, Medicine cats are to treat any cat no matter what clan they are from and what they've done. To treat such cats, they must learn the uses for each herb and where they grow in order to use them effectively. While they assist with kitting, they are never to take a mate or have kits. This is because it will influence their abilities to heal without bias toward other cats. To bond this, Medicine cats from all the clans come together at half moon to share tongues with StarClan. Which is also a job to be able to receive and interpret the signs given to them by their ancestors. They share such signs with their leaders in order to help better the clan and possibly all the clans.
What you would do with this position: I would be active in posting in topics that I am needed in. Especially battle topics and kitting topics. I will stick to the duties and responsibilities of a Medicine cat. Meddies breaking the rules is so overrated. My cat will find the strength to persevere through tough times. I'll be a good ol' meddie. c:
Why you think you deserve this position: Well, I've been on this site since early 2012. I hold the job of a moderator, and know the ins and outs of the site. I am a fairly good role player and am quite conscious about all things medicine cat and have read every Warriors book out there. A full on nerd by my standards. I only have two cats, so I won't be overwhelmed with posting places and can focus on things where other need my cat to be. Especially developing the cat in general. Besides that, with all of my experience and how much I've Rped, I have yet to be a medicine cat. I think this would be a good change of pace for me and allow me to actually do something in Rp that I have not done before!
