Mistypaw's New Mentor Ceremony

Treestep jumped up onto the Highrock and called out below, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan meeting!" It was her first time preforming this type of ceremony but she was sure it would go smoothly.

Blizzardshine walked towards the Highrock with her usual smile and looked at Treestep on top of it, wondering what was going to happen now. She wasn’t really sure if any kit had reached apprentice age or an apprentice was ready to become a warrior, maybe it was something else?

Mistypaw walked out of the apprentices den quietly and calmly, she would always try and attend any meeting she could. She usually just liked being there, she had weird feelings when she did go but she was always just excited. She wasn't always able to tell if the meeting were for her or not, but maybe this one was.

Treestep looked down and cleared her throat, "Due to circumstances, we are gathered to replace Mistypaw's mentor." after a short pause she continued, "Blizzardshine, you shall be Mistypaw's new mentor, I hope you train her well under the Dark Forest's rule."

Mistypaw turned over to Blizzardshine, she had heard that she was pretty nice. She didn't smile but just walked over and touched noses to her new mentor, she was happy but just didn't feel too much like smiling at the time, she didn't want to be rude though.

Blizzardshine smiled at Mistypaw and touched noses with the apprentice. She was not only happy to have an apprentice now, but also because she was going to mentor one of Pepper’s and Scorchfrost’s kits “I’ll do my best to train you, Mistypaw”.
