Sunkit and Spottedkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowstar jumped onto the Tall Branch and called out to his clan. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting!"

A black and ginger she cat came from the nursery. She was still a bit timid after only recently joining the clan but she gave a small smile at the call her green eyes looked up at Crowstar and she gave a small twitch of her stub of a tail and went and took a seat. Spottedkit wasn't sure what was going on.

Jayflight appeared from the warriors den, he sat down and turned to look up at Crowstar.

Ghostpelt padded out after her son, Sunkit, and made sure his pelt was groomed to perfection. Nobody would have thought that quiet little Ghostpelt would adopt kits, or soon be expecting any for that matter.

Sunkit padded out of the nursery, his proud mother behind him. He kept his head down, nervous. "Do I deserve this?" he asked Ghostpelt, worried.

"Spottedkit, Sunkit please step forward." Crowstar said.

Spottedkit blinked and stood up slowly. She then padded forward quietly and looked at Crowstar

Sunkit stepped forward tentatively. Despite his worries, he couldn't deny that there were butterflies in his stomach.

"It is time that you two become apprentices. Sunkit and Spottedkit from this moment on, until you earn you warrior name, you will be known as Sunpaw and Spottedpaw. Sunpaw your mentor will be Jayflight. Spottedpaw you mentor will be Ghostpelt." The leader said.

Spottedpaw blinked and she smiled a little her ears pricked and her tail gave a small twitch of excitement.

Jayflight smiled and touched noses with his apprentice "New apprentices are always fun, we'll be training tomorrow, try your best" he purred.

Sunpaw grinned, excitement flooding his worries. He touched noses with Jayflight. "I'll make you proud!" he mewed, a rare confidence filling his voice.
