Swiftkit and Bluekit's apprentice ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!" Ashstar yowled from the Tallrock.

Swiftkit pretty much bounced out of the nursery eyes shining with excitement and nervousness. He knew this was his apprentice ceremony and he couldn't wait to train with the other apprentices. He sat down when he got to Tallrock, tail tip twitching eagerly, and rested his forest green gaze on Ashstar.

Smokepelt spotted his adopted son in the crowd and gave a pur. He was so proud of the little cat, and couldn't wait to be able to go on patrols and teach him all he knew about the clans, even if he wasn't the small cat's mentor.

Flashstorm entered the camp carrying two rabbits. They tom hurried over to the fresh-kill pile and dropped off his kills before joining the gathering cats. The ginger tom took a seat and wrapped his tail around his paws neatly. His eyes wandered around for a couple moments before he redirected himself to Ashstar.

OOC: Bluekit hasn't had a topic or been born he's part of the Horsestep plot

IC: "Swiftkit, you have reached the age of six moons and are ready to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Swiftpaw. Swiftpaw, your mentor will be Flashstorm. I hope he passes on all he knows to you."

ic: Swiftpaw grinned cheerfully as Ashstar gave him his new name and mentor. He bounced his way over to where Flashstorm was sitting and reach up his muzzle to touch noses with the other tom.
