Littlekit, Russetkit and Ravenkit's Apprentice Ceremonies

"Let all cats old... enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock... or clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

ic: Littlekit padded out of the nursery, nearly bouncing with excitement, making little tufts of her nicely groomed pelt stick out. She was hoping that this was her apprentice ceremony, and she couldn't wait to be able to train with all the other apprentices. She stopped when she got to jagged rock and sat down, resting her deep ocean blue eyes, that were shining excitedly, on Thrushstar.

Wildfang padded over to the Jagged Rock with tense shoulders and a distant look to his eyes. The tom looked up at Thrushstar and blinked. More apprentices...

Russetkit passed from the nursery closely after Little Kit. She gave a small smile her fur groomed back as best she could as she sat down quietly and looked around.

Littlekit smiled cheerfully at her sister, Russetkit, "I wonder who our mentors will be." She mewed excitedly.

Ferretshine sat down, smiling brightly as the kits bounced past her.

"Yeah I wonder too!"Russetkit mewed smiling some.

Leopardfang watched with a serious expression, sitting close to the Jaggedrock. His last apprentice was made a warrior already, but that didn't mean his work was done. He turned his gaze to Thrushstar. He was as silent as the very rock his leader was sitting on.

Freckleface sat near her mentor, smiling. Maybe she'd get an apprentice!

Ravenkit padded out of the nursery. She sat down next to the other kits. she hoped her mentor would be Thrushstar if he didn't have one already. She wanted so badly to be leader but she knew only fate would decide. She looked happily at her leader eyes glimmering with excitement.

"Tonight we gather to make these kits apprentices," Thrushstar said. "Littlekit, Russetkit, and Ravenkit, from... now on you will be known as Littlepaw, Russetpaw, and Ravenpaw. Your mentors... will be Leopardfang, Freckleface, and Ferretshine... respectively. May they teach you... everything that they know." With that, Thrushstar leaped down and went into his den.

Littlepaw was pretty much trembling with excitement and nervousness as the deputy was named her mentor. She padded up to Leopardfang and reached up her muzzle to touch noses with him falling short of his because of her small size.

Freckleface touched her nose to Russetpaw's. An apprentice of her own! She would train her well.

RavenPaw padded over to FerretShine and touched the she-cats nose with hers.

Leopardfang nodded with approval to Freckleface. Hopefully an apprentice would not prove to be too much trouble for the deputy's former apprentice. The spotted tom turned to watch Littlepaw and bent his neck to meet noses, saying, "Greetings. I look forward to seeing what you have to offer ShadowClan."
