Tigerkit, Mothkit, Rainkit, Littlekit, Greykit, and Splotchkit's Apprentice Ceremonies

There were a lot of ceremonies recently, but that was definitely a good thing. Leaping onto the rock, Thrushstripe called for the clan. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" He yowled.

Greykit, hesitantly padded out, looking over her shoulder repetitively, in worry to see if her sisters and parents would come a long.

Tigerkit stepped outside of the den, his fur groomed neatly aside from a turf of fur sticking up on his head, and a large grin on his face.

Mothkit awoke with a start. He had been snoozing off in the warm beams of sun that glittered into the camp. Immediately after hearing the voice of his leader, did the kit get up and follow his brother into the clearing. Plopping back down in a better position to listen.

With eagerness, Splotchkit ran out of the nursery. She knew that it was close to time for her to become an apprentice and she couldn't wait!

Padding her little black paws over to Jaggedrock, she sat down next to her sister before lifting her chin with pride.


Soulfang stood back from the gathering crowd of cats, he knew most of them still and always would despise him and he accepted that. He just decided to stay near the warrior den and watched from afar.

Littlekit bolted after her sisters, barely keeping up with them. Her legs were short and she was slow but she managed to sit down beside them and sit tall.


Moonstrike watched the kits sit together and then padded over to Soulfang, sitting beside him pointedly, as if trying to make a statement.

"Tonight, we gather to make several kits apprentices. Tigerkit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Tigerpaw and your mentor will be Moonstrike. Mothkit, from this day until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Mothpaw and your mentor will be Whiteshadow. Littlekit, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Littlepaw and your mentor will be Shadeflame. Greykit, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Greypaw and your mentor will be Scorchclaw. Splotchkit, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Splotchpaw and your mentor will be Mistflower. May each of your mentors teach you everything they know to become great warriors when the time comes," Thrushstripe said loudly from the rock and as soon as he finished, he leaped down to let the clan celebrate the newly named apprentices.
